This is a very good deal but at the end of the day if I spend $600 on a monitor I don't need then I lost. What to do

Jumped on this. I haven't been following for so long but OLED and under $600 is a steal. Thanks.

Even the non OLED model is worth this price.

They emailed a 20% link which instantly tracked as a trip and should show up by tomorrow
it's up to 20%, and 20% is only for vacuum, 5% is for everything else. but sometimes, I found C1 is very forgiving, so hope 20% may kick in.

Keep my $800 57" neo g9 or sell it and go for this lol
Your 57 is 4k resolution with quantum dot. Not as good as oled, but still pretty damn good. This is only 1440p. You gotta decide what is important for you. Personally I would keep the 57", but I actually have use for the extra pixels where resolution heavily matters. For some gaming applications though, I know many will argue that 4k vs 1440 won't be that noticeable at that distance.

Guys, please be aware this is 1440p AKA 2K by some. If you understand this and you have no plans to play or watch content in 4k, this is a great deal. However, there's a pretty big difference between 2k and 4K. Just something to consider. Again, this is a great deal if you understand this is 1440p

I've used this monitor for 3 weeks.
Here's some stuff I wish I knew when I bought it:
  • It's basically a G93SC panel without the RGB lights in the back and a lower refresh rate (144 vs 240)
  • The finish on the screen is glossy. Other 2024 OLED G9s get the new matte finish. I found the reflection handling to be pretty good on this regardless of it being glossy.
  • The 2nd HDMI port is micro HDMI, but they don't give you an adapter for it in the box. I only got a DisplayPort cable and a USB C to USB A adapter.
  • The auto source switch on this is terrible. I constantly get switching to my laptop whether I like it or not. Sometimes I wish this thing had a remote like the G95SC so I don't have to constantly use the OSD controls to switch input.
  • Samsung QC is hit and miss. I've had some occasional flickering, but not a deal breaker so far. My DisplayPort has also crapped out a few times. But an unplug of the monitor fixed it.

I'm thinking waiting for the 57" as well. I'm already using a 34" UW with 2 27" monitors for a triple set up so not sure how this will fit in my lineup unless I just replace the 34" which I don't really need to do. Guess this is more of a want than a need in my case.
yeah same. ultimately i think i would regret it. closed the shopping cart after about an hour of thinking lol. but good deal for those who are looking for the 49".

also i agree with you on the 32". i really like the 32" 4k form factor. i'm on a Dell ultrasharp 43" 4k and a LG 32" 4K. the 32" is the one monitor that i don't want to lose. oops can't read you're talking about a 34" LOL. ignore this last bit.

I'd take the 57" all day long even if it's not OLED. If you want to sell it at cost, I could be convinced...

This or Neo g9 57" previous deal for $800 any insights please.
I have both OLED and mini LED displays (lg oled / mini samsung) And they are both absolutely beautiful. I am sticking with my mini LED from the same deal you are speaking of over this. Also, 1440p versus 4K is huge. I would recommend keeping what you have. I personally do not notice any difference between OLED and mini LED quality
