This 10 pack AAA eneloop seems to be a new SKU and all of the reviews written this year seem to confirm they're still made in Japan so I'm going to take a gamble.

Edit: Received mine and they're indeed made in Japan.

Good deal! Paid $20 and some change on Dec. 1st. They are made in Japan, as other said Eneloops in the US market are MIJ.

Looking for cheap rechargable AAs prefer Eneloops but other reliable brands would work.

I had the original ones by Sanyo. Then I needed more and so I got them and they were nowhere near the same as my 4yrs of old and heavily used Sanyo ones. I later realized the new ones were by Panasonic. I don't know about Japan and China, but I would look at recent reviews and not the reputation ones. Last I checked the Duracell rechargeable ones and eneloop PRO models were better. IKEA was also good to iirc

Factory was sold. Fujitsu owns it now. Eneloop was sold to Panasonic.
Eneloops sold in US comes from that same factory.

Pro is higher capacity but less recharge cycles.
They all come from the same factory.

Who is updooting this lol, eneloop is one of the only things I will shill hard for, comparing these to ikea rechargeable is an insult, especially about saving 7 cents.

I am still using the same eneloop batteries from when they were originally bought for my game boy advance 20 years ago
