It seems like you're comparing two very different options, but I understand where you're coming from. Still, I'd suggest considering the HP Victus 8845hs/4070 at BB over the MSI 8845hs/4060(not Ti), as it might be a better deal overall.

Doesn't even use the 16gb vram version of 4060 ti. Not a good deal

Why throw an 8700g and a video card when the 8700g apu is a beast for apu's so your paying extra for that?

That was my thought as well. They'd be better served by a regular CPU - even a 7700 would make more sense in this build than the 8700g.

I had a recent HP Omen (not this model) and it came with a WD Black Gen4 SN810​

I've seen New system with RTX 4070 system for this price. So this is not a good price
