There is a bit of confusion in this thread. Ryobi makes a 18V 320 PSI and a 18V 600PSI and a 40V 600PSI. The 18V 320 PSI really isnt that much better than a hose. You should skip it. The 18V 600 PSI version is the one to get if you want a portable pressure washer for light work, washing cars, furniture, windows, etc... The 40V 600 PSI has exactly the same output as the 18V 600PSI but is heavier and bulkier and is less efficient electrically.
It's a bit better than a garden hose- higher pressure and uses less water. I've used it for clearing gravel and topsoil out of a truck bed, washing windows screens/mesh filters, and caked mud off vehicles. I wouldn't recommend it for cleaning walkways/patios, fences, siding, or a foam cannon.
If you have access to a garden hose with a decent spray head don't even bother honestly.

I have the 18v of this (the 320psi in this deal) and the 40v version (600 psi) and invested in both systems. This is one of those where the 40v truly outshines in every way. I can't think of a reason to grab the 18v anymore.

This is a good deal if you can't/don't want the 40v.

I've used a similair product and you'd save money buy just covering a hose with your finger
