Is this powerful enough to do most jobs around the house?

It's a bit better than a garden hose- higher pressure and uses less water. I've used it for clearing gravel and topsoil out of a truck bed, washing windows screens/mesh filters, and caked mud off vehicles. I wouldn't recommend it for cleaning walkways/patios, fences, siding, or a foam cannon.

I have the 18v of this (the 320psi in this deal) and the 40v version (600 psi) and invested in both systems. This is one of those where the 40v truly outshines in every way. I can't think of a reason to grab the 18v anymore.

This is a good deal if you can't/don't want the 40v.

If you have access to a garden hose with a decent spray head don't even bother honestly.

There is a bit of confusion in this thread. Ryobi makes a 18V 320 PSI and a 18V 600PSI and a 40V 600PSI. The 18V 320 PSI really isnt that much better than a hose. You should skip it. The 18V 600 PSI version is the one to get if you want a portable pressure washer for light work, washing cars, furniture, windows, etc... The 40V 600 PSI has exactly the same output as the 18V 600PSI but is heavier and bulkier and is less efficient electrically.

Thanks for that explanation. I must have the 18v 600 PSI because it's significantly more useful than a house nozzle.

300 psi vs 600 psi ...lets hope the 600 psi is better as it costs almost 4 times the price

Sure, but that assumes you have a spigot close enough to attach the other end of the hose to.

Where these ezcleans really shine is in places where you don't have that, such as out in your boat, on the dock, camping, or at a trailhead. And for when you've already taken in your hoses for winter.

Does anyone have any experience using this to wash the undercarriage of a car/truck?

Thinking of using this to wash the salt off under the car, but it looks like it's going to be difficult pointing the water stream upwards from under the car.

Has anyone used this for rinsing the salt/crud underneath a car during winter (after the garden hose water supply is shut off to prevent freezing)

This is good as a mobile product. If you are at home, just use your garden hose. This is useful for me when I'm out kayaking and want to clean the kayak before putting it on the car. I clean my gears also from all the salt water and sands. You need also then a box to carry water obviously. Good for general washing stuff also for camping. Alternatively, you can just bring gallons of waters in various large plastic soda containers and just squirt them out if you don't need any pressure for general cleaning.
