I've been eyeing this lens for months. Great deal. I can basically use it for all my gigs. I just wish it came in 2024 so I could write it off lol.

Depends on the focal length. Photo life says at wider focal lengths corner sharpness is among best in class. At longer focal lengths it seems the lens starts to lose quite a bit of its sharpness all over.

I preordered the Sony version of this lens for my a7R II, and I've found that 2/3 of the time I don't end up swapping to any of the other lenses I bring along. It's heavy, but it's a killer general-purpose lens.
