Deal Details
Walmart has Bose Smart Soundbar 550 w/ Dolby Atmos for $199. Shipping is free, otherwise free store pickup is available where stock permits.

Note: Availability for pickup may vary by location.

Thanks to Deal Hunter Eragorn for finding this deal.

Features:
  • Only TrueSpace elevates it all. Dolby Atmos is great for elevating the sound experience of certain movies and TV. But most content isn't Atmos-encoded. For full immersion all the time, there's Bose TrueSpace technology. No matter what you're watching, TrueSpace intelligently analyzes signals other than Dolby Atmos, like stereo or 5.1, and up-mixes them to create an immersive multi-channel sound experience. Instruments, dialogue, and effects are separated, then placed around the room. A.I. Dialogue Mode automatically balances voice and surround sound for ultra-crisp vocal clarity, so you hear every word without sacrificing immersive elements.
  • Big-time tech for a small soundbar. It wouldn't be a Bose soundbar if it weren't packed full of technology. The acoustic architecture of Soundbar 550 squeezes five transducers — including two that fire upward — into its compact frame. They all work together to spread sound around your room: horizontally left, right, and forward, but most importantly above to reflect off the ceiling
  • Streaming. Any way you want. If you can get it on your phone, you can hear it through the Bose Soundbar 550. And no matter what you stream, it all sounds deep and rich. Connect to Wi-Fi to access integrated music services and internet radio stations through the app. Or stream songs and video with Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, or Chromecast built-in. It's your entertainment — you choose how you stream it

I just got this a couple weeks ago and I love it! Definitely a slick deal.

I had the Solo Series 2 before and this is far better. Even when streaming content that is not in Dolby Atmos, Bose claims it uses something called True Space technology to upmix any audio signal. I can only say I believe it works. Because most streaming services require the higher price plan to get Atmos content, most of the stuff I stream is not in Atmos. It all still sounds really good to me. Movies, TV, and music all sound great. For $199, I think it is an easy recommendation and I would jump on it before the deal is gone. Worst case scenario, if you disagree, you can always return it.

Somebody in the last thread said you could connect a generic sub with some adapters but nobody else really confirmed it. I'd be interested in this if that were true. Might give it a try since it's an easy return at Walmart.
It worked for me. You need to plug a 3.5mm Stereo male plug into the soundbar and have adapters to end with a female RCA plug that connects with a male to male RCA cable that ends in the sub. And you have to enable a bass module in the Bose Sound app.

Or maybe the adapter mentioned in the thread -- 3.5mm Stereo male to RCA female. Some have mentioned that the 3.5mm plug must be stereo, not mono. Stereo has two black rings on the plug.

Please for the love of god, go buy this one. Got this two weeks ago and loving it so far.
Came here to same the same thing. Even logged back in for the first time in forever just to say it was well worth the price. I had been on the fence for months on different models and glad I held out for this one. Great quality sound - every movie feels like I'm in a movie theater.

Doesn't seem to matter. I used an old SVS and an old Sony. They both were identified as "Bose Bass Module 700".

I don't think that'll work but would love if you can use a second sound bar as surrounds lol.

Great deal, just got it. Is it possible to pair the Klipsch R-120SWi Subwoofer with a home theater setup? https://slickdeals.net/f/18033792-klipsch-r-120swi-subwoofer-ymmv-99-97?src=frontpage

Okay, I ordered it. I'll come haunt you if it doesn't work! Or just return it to Walmart. That might be easier.

Thanks!!
