Is it illegal for these guys to add a USB-C input to their monitors? Seriously insane these days how many dont have it.

I am really wondering: Should I just go with this and buy a new one in 2 years? Actually, I am in the market for a 34-39 OLED monitor. But then it's easily $700-800. Maybe just get this one and already plan to upgrade more often? The price/reviews of this one definitely looks good..
