We love ours.... You can turn it off. It also turns itself off after so many seconds, to minimize wasted water.
i started with the FLOW, and later on upgraded to the pull spring ones for the looks.
neither of them have major issues for the 5 years i used it. but here are few things to keep in mind:
1. the material used aren't what you come to expect for a 300 dollar MSRP. if you use to kohler or something like that, be prepared to be disappointed big time.
2. the water line is downgraded on the pull spring ones vs the flow version. the flow version had steel braided hose and the pull spring ones is just hose. i do think this is a big issue in the long term because the pulling motion will kink the hose.
3. while you can turn off the motion activation by turning the switch on the controller box, don't. the manual specifically said do not use manual mode for long period of time. this is because the entire control box is plastic, and the hose out of the controller box isn't pressure rated (not steel braided). normally the on/off switch is at the inlet of the control box so the box and the line after the box isn't subjected to main pressure, turning it in manual mode means the entire box and the line after it is subjected to the main pressure. doing it for long period of time is a disaster in making.

From the pictures it seems all of them have small heads comparing to other known brand, is that an accurate observation?

At this point, I've just disabled the motion activation feature altogether (there's a knob for that), and I'm using it as a regular faucet. The concept is great, but the battery drain and sensor issues make it less ideal for long-term use unless you're okay with regularly replacing the batteries. Still, it's fine for now, just not as convenient as it once was.

I have two Flow 770 for the past 3 years and only broke one time: no water comes out even though the sensor activated fine. While trying to figure out what's going on, the manual operation switch was a bit overturned (very fragile plastic) and scared me (no more manual mode). I almost gave up and decided to replace the whole damn thing, luckily found the problem: the little button on the spray head (press to stop water) was somehow stuck. Tapping it several times released the valve.
Home Depot also has Flow 770 for $99.99 (though OOS right now). [homedepot.com]
They seem the same to me. Am I missing something?
At one point I reached out to flow motion to complain about the reduced flow, and never got any reply.
I now have a Kohler motion activated faucet and am much happier.
1. Maybe 8-10x since I've had the sink turn on randomly and had to wipe down or use the sensor multiple times to reset.
2. Maybe 2x I had a situation where the sensor didn't work and I had to jiggle things down below with the sensor controller and having to go into manual mode for some time and then later move back to sensor mode where it "fixed" itself.
3. Maybe 2x were legitimate battery changes needed.
4. 1x I had to do an RMA because the sensor straight up didn't work any longer. BioBidet was very good about working w/ me to get it replaced but I ran out of my warranty so let's see what happens from here on out.
5. It is a bit annoying to be washing something large and having the sensor pick that up and turning off unexpectedly. This is where a touch version of this may be more beneficial.
Overall I still enjoy this faucet and prefer this over your manual faucet. However, if this one breaks down and needs replacement, I'll consider other options.
My experience with them was very good. IMO, they will stand behind their warranty and take care of you.
