No, the Milwaukee has more torque (550 ft lbs fastening/650 ft lbs nut busting). That Dewalt is 300/450.

This impact has become accurately referred to as "king ugga dugga" by me and everyone I've loaned it out to. While it is a "mid torque", I have not come across a single fastener it would not quickly loosen, including staked and threadlocked 1.75" driveline pinion nuts that wouldn't budge with 6 foot breaker bars and heat. It works quickly and efficiently but also balances size and power and will fit into most places you need to break out some power. On the "loosen" setting it's great for removing lugnuts without risking galling the threads the way it slows down speed once the fastener breaks loose. I also have an M12 3/8" compact impact that rarely gets used as this one does it all.
If you are looking for one impact for automotive use, this is the one to get.

I own both and that's just false.

DeWalt has better table/miter saws, sanders, and drills/drivers. Milwaukee has better automotive, electrician, plumbing, 12V, and storage.

Fanboying is just silly

Thanks, I've been waiting for a deal on this, and not being tool-only was a nice bonus. My vacuum can sure use the bigger battery.

Aight even better than the last deal, I bite. Thanks! My craftsman almost couldn't get over torqued lug nuts off recently, it was a sign. I had to crank some of those nuts for over 5 seconds, it was ridiculous.

Update: Double bonus.. this unit is half the length of my old craftsman while having over 3x the torque!

On most stuff at big box stores. Of those brands I also really like Ridgid and haven't had to use a single lifetime warranty on that brand.

This seems like a silly comment. I would agree Milwaukee is generally 10% better than DeWalt, but they both make good tools that people use to successfully build things every day. But since you mentioned it, Milwaukee isn't even close to top of the line. Maybe top of the line at a big box store, but German tools: exist.
