Smiths/Morrissey albums just aren't worth it. Each one only has 2 or 3 good tracks. This one's are 3, 5, & 9. Honestly though, a lot of 80s albums from modern rock artists were like that (even though I love them) - Echo & the Bunnymen, the Cure, Depeche Mode, etc etc.

I honesly don't remember them having more than 3 albums. I'm struggling to remember... I know if you look them up there's a lot of odd imports and compilations (most of which are just the same group of songs). I mean I hope I'm wrong but that's the thing with music back then - there was no internet to look up shit. For example, one of my favorite albums from the mid 80s, Love by the Cult I swore was their first album (under the name The Cult). I was curious one day and looked them up on wikepedia or something and come to find out they had one prior to that in '83 or '84 but it's long since out of print. I can't believe I had missed it.

Sorry to disappoint but as much as I love a lot of 80s music, I just can't sit there through a whole album that's mid at best. Am I the only one who remembers how sucky records were in the 80s and was so relieved once cassette tapes came out where you could make "best of" type compilations? There was a reason vinyl fizzled off towards the end of the 80s; not the least bit portable and it's too much of a PITA to skip undesirable tracks.

Exactly, and this is a mid album at best where half the tracks you want to skip.
