So I'm guessing the S22 ultra will now be worth squat.
And in some ways it felt like a downgrade. The battery life is shit. Thank God for the 45w charge. My work s23 regular lasts for like a week on a charge.
The S25 Ultra literally is iterative... only thing mildly i like is the 16gb ram which should have been in the S24 Ultra.
Cpu - solid upgrade if you actually will use it.
Battery - same
Charging speeds - Same slow shit
Camera - basically same, minor upgrade to superwide lens.
Screen - Same with slightly higher nits outside which is nice.
This is the most honest comparison, I had the same thoughts. The only decent upgrade is the CPU.
It's better to just get the s24 ultra or even s23 ultra on the low.
Free upgrade to 512 GB - Save $200 (256 GB $1349 and 512 GB $1449)
Trade in max - Save $800
Reserve Credit - Save $50
Promotional Accessories Credit - Save $200 (Use it along with preorder or let go).
At least you will need to pay $450 - $500 plus tax OOP if upgrading from S24 ULTRA. Obviously you will get around 15% C B from well known sites. Still not worth if there are not much upgrades apart from new processor and new 50mp ultra wide sensor camera.

Recently was at an airshow so the planes were decently far away, on my S24U I was pretty much using 10x max for video and photos and the results were eye candy
