Received today, opened up to try, and it's surprisingly sturdy. I am not tall and also a pretty light person, and it's comfortable enough and not too wobbly. I can imagine someone taller being a bit crumpled in, however I think up to 5'5/5'6 it should be okay. The frame is heavy though, so it will be for backyard or car camping. Thanks for posting!

Thanks, got one. No need to have Walmart+ for free shipping, as it's shipped directly by the marketplace seller. Let's see the quality when it gets here!

I will note, very hard to keep your center of gravity on these style hammocks...like regular Hammock times 10 hard.

I've had a very similar looking one for over 10 years. It holds over 200 pounds no problem, and I see no reason why 250 would be too much. The cloth material frayed but this one looks a little better in that area.

I think the frame of this is the same as one I have, which is surprisingly sturdy. The bed portion of mine started to unravel and fall apart prematurely due to cheap materials, but it held plenty of weight. I hated it though because these very short hammocks are touchy and harder to get in or out of compared to a regular hammock. And for anyone around 6' or more the length is short, and these don't cradle you the same way, so it hurt my knees.

A work around was to substitute a sheet and two lengths of rope, which was easier to use and more comfortable. I switched to a cot for camping, then eventually a rooftop tent, but my friend who is only about 5' lives the hammock when she used it last summer.
