This is terrible! This thing weighs a ton! It feels like solid steal, completely unyielding, pressure sucks even when removing the regulator, and you definitely don't want to drop it on you feet! I returned it after 3 days! I I wouldn't want this for free.

really, it is THAT heavy! shockingly so.

do you really need a warranty on a $40 showerhead

The design looks interesting but the demo video show weak water stream.
It's also missing the focused concentrated spray mode which is beneficial and needed. Like Moen deal but pass on this one. Cost don't mean much if it's doesn't work like the way you want it to.

I asked it for both. This is what it said about the $40 one: Moen does not recommend removing the flow restrictor from this handshower, as it has been designed and tested for optimal performance with the restrictor in place.

Having learned that I don't think I'd want to try unless it's been proven to work well without one if it can be removed which isn't clear to me.

I also asked what type of metal this was and it was unsure. It looks like plastic chrome plated to me. And both being less than 2 GPM stock I think I'll pass on both
What did you think Moen would say about their own product? Especially when you know they sell the exact same one at a different flow rate (I.e. less restrictive)

After two recent bathroom guts, you can trust the reviews on bathroom fixtures as they seem to be more accurate than other items that people review

There are usually ways to drive around that. For example, if you claim that the item was a gift they may go with the warranty based on the manufacturing date. TTI tools will do that for Milwaukee, rigid Ryobi, etc.. Granted that's kind of a different market i've gotten companies to honor warrantees like that.
This may have been the case 10 years ago. And may luckily be with big tool brands, but I've gotten actual wedding gifts and otherwise from brands that could easily have used the serial number and manufactured date but refused to honor any warranty without "original proof of purchase"

The most ridiculous one was a bread box we got for our wedding that supposedly has a "lifetime guarantee" and after a couple months it wouldn't stay closed. I still had the box and everything but because I didn't have the original store receipt they recommend that I donate the item or recycle it "for the environment"

Another was a toaster who's warranty rolled up though Hamilton beach or something and all they offered me was a 10% off coupon when the handle broke. It was supposed to have a 10 year warranty but because it was a gift I was SOL

It's getting harder and harder to get companies to honor warranties nowadays

There's something to be said for purchasing a cheap no name showerhead...no flow restrictor to deal with.

The flow restrictors take 1 minute to remove. You can grab them with a needle nose pliers, stick a screwdriver in and twist to break it free, use a knife to twist it out, etc. You won't "break" the fixture by removing it- just make sure you shake out any loose pieces of plastic before installing.

I have this showerhead. It was Moen's version of a Kickstarter water saving showerhead. https://www.brondell.com/nebia-sp...U94VBL4gph
It's like a fine misting shower head in the water saving mode and then Moen added a more standard stream in the middle. The misting is actually very nice but requires the water temp to be turned way up because of the cooling effect of the mist.
The regular stream is nice but is not high pressure.
Overall...good deal for this showerhead. Whether someone likes this showerhead is a personal preference.
