This is terrible! This thing weighs a ton! It feels like solid steal, completely unyielding, pressure sucks even when removing the regulator, and you definitely don't want to drop it on you feet! I returned it after 3 days! I I wouldn't want this for free.

really, it is THAT heavy! shockingly so.

do you really need a warranty on a $40 showerhead

The design looks interesting but the demo video show weak water stream.
It's also missing the focused concentrated spray mode which is beneficial and needed. Like Moen deal but pass on this one. Cost don't mean much if it's doesn't work like the way you want it to.

No but Moen does have a nice warranty the one time I used it.

I got two of these via the Kickstarter they ran in like 2022. Overall it is a neat design that I hadn't seen much of back then, the water pressure isn't terrible but personally is a bit light for me. There is only one useful setting to me, the others are more superfluous and sure, get you wet/eventually would wash the soap off, but aren't as efficient. I think the KS price was $100.
The thing that I didn't like, more than the water flow, was that the magnetic attachment was very easy to knock off the holder if you had to tilt the shower head down too much. My wife is short and aiming the shower head down enough for it to be usable was a double edged sword if the hose gets bumped too hard, because it would bring the whole thing off the magnetic holder. This is made of plastic and I have had to put it back together from a fall more than once.
Honestly just buy the "normal" $20 one from Walmart and you'll be happier.

I believe you're thinking of this one: https://www.costco.com/kohler-tel...ue&nf=true

Picked one up for myself in warehouse last week, but haven't yet installed... Contemplating the Moen too

I am returning the Kohler. Bad reviews and few mentioned button stopped working.

Most times shower heads have water flow governors installed. The last showerhead I bought (very similar) had a helpful YouTube video showing me how to remove it to get decent pressure. I'm not invested enough to leave this comment AND go find a YouTube link also, but I'm sure it could be done.

How is this compared to the Kohler one on sale in Costco website. Appears similar in form, function and price

Correct! that is the one (Kohler, not Moen).

For me corrosion resistance is the main factor. I have bad water and everything but top stainless steel corrodes over time. I read that Kohler uses generally better materials than Moen and are thus more corrosion resistant. I think they both carry a lifetime warranty but unsure whether corrosion is covered.

This one or another Moen from Amazon for $25?: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DVS40TE/

Can the flow restrictor be removed on this one?
Yes, very simple

After taking the water restrictor out, really good pressure. I was looking for hotel level water pressure and this was good enough on regular setting. If you like spray, I don't think pressure really matters.

It's like a fine misting shower head in the water saving mode
If I had a nightmare about trying to get clean in the shower, this would be it. Big Grin

Especially on a $40 a showerhead!
What's wrong in asking when people know that Moen products do come with lifetime warranty for some!
At least one of my friend getting his house from builder this summer and he did mention that his Moen would come with lifetime warranty!
