This is terrible! This thing weighs a ton! It feels like solid steal, completely unyielding, pressure sucks even when removing the regulator, and you definitely don't want to drop it on you feet! I returned it after 3 days! I I wouldn't want this for free.

really, it is THAT heavy! shockingly so.

The design looks interesting but the demo video show weak water stream.
It's also missing the focused concentrated spray mode which is beneficial and needed. Like Moen deal but pass on this one. Cost don't mean much if it's doesn't work like the way you want it to.

I have bought both Delta and Moen products and never have had to buy new ones. The key is you have to know the model number. What I have done is -lets say my shower head started to malfunction and I don't know the model number- I go to Lowe's/hd/? ... Take the shower head with me then see which head looks closest or exact.. then I call the warranty department and tell them the model number.. they usually ask me to send them a photo of the shower head.. and usually I get the replacement part within a week..

I asked it for both. This is what it said about the $40 one: Moen does not recommend removing the flow restrictor from this handshower, as it has been designed and tested for optimal performance with the restrictor in place.

Having learned that I don't think I'd want to try unless it's been proven to work well without one if it can be removed which isn't clear to me.

I also asked what type of metal this was and it was unsure. It looks like plastic chrome plated to me. And both being less than 2 GPM stock I think I'll pass on both
Generally companies will not okay modifying their product, why would they? Restrictors are also a legal requirement in some markets.

I have a similar Moen magnetic docking shower head and it's been fantastic. Highly recommend!
Many morons have magnetic heads. In no way are they similar just because of this feature.

Any similar options that have an actual OFF setting and not "pause" that dribbles water?

The plastic adapter is very easy to break.

Yeah - the solution to the legal requirements is, "wink, wink - you can remove the restrictor after buying the product". I don't buy any shower head where I cannot remove the restrictor.

Personally, I think you consume almost the same amount of water with/without the restrictor - with the restrictor in place, you take longer showers - so time wise less efficient and not satisfying either.

Your 1.6 gpf toilet does not take any more time to flush your craps; so can you.

I've tried speakman and they pretty good but my favorite is Kohler Flipside. That thing is amazing. Even better when you add a 3-way diverter and add a separate wand.

I buy my plumbing fixtures through Amazon warehouse. I haven't gotten a bad item yet and usually save at least 50% off listed price.

Never understood why people use toilet flush for their showers.
