I see LSA listed on product page, but I had previously thought the radios were not eligible. Can anyone confirm they've registered this for LSA?

I actually just picked this up with the max output battery combo. I was afraid of how it was gonna sound after comparing to other radios online. Worst case scenario I was gonna do the hack for the batteries.

Radio is pretty damn good. Only thing in person I have it to compare to is my monster nomad. Not as much bass, but sound wise, I'd say it's right up there.

I just registered mine on the 2nd so right now it's pending. I could have sworn on the radio box it said I was eligible for it. If no one answers you I'll let you know if mine gets approved.

I bought this with the 4ah battery starter kit that was also on clearance sale for $129 at my local HD so the value of radio with hack was only ~$65, but I figure for only ~$65 I'll keep the batteries for their LSA since they are also compatible with my Ryobi tools via adapter off Fleabay…

I have wanted to add this radio to my Ridgid collection since I missed the deal back in July. It was cheaper this time around, and if you go the 2 battery and charger route, even if you're not in the lucky zone where it's on clearance for $129, the $149 price broke down like this:
Batteries/charger $77.09
Radio $71.91
I literally returned the batteries less than 1/2 hour after they were delivered by a hired HD carrier. The option to order online and pickup in-store was not available for the batteries, so I had to choose the FREE delivery, which was mid-day next day after ordering around 11p.
But, I couldn't return the batteries that day cause my order wasn't listed in the system as completed, despite showing CS that my order was delivered on the order page.
Tried again the next day and return was painless.

I want one... But the whole internal only antenna seems suspect where I live.

Yep I actually did the same move, started my home owner journey with cheap ryobi tools and then moved to ridgid.

I still have a few ryobi tools tools that I do not have a better version of that I kept, but I didnt want to maintain two battery systems. So I just got an adapter and it works great.

LSA batteries, and always great sales I think its cheaper to get the better Ridgid batteries than Ryobi!

You can also get the inverter adapter to turn batteries into low power AC outlets or USB battery banks.

Lastly, I got something off ebay that converts the battery into a 12v power source and I use that to run my Kamado grill or pellet smoker without needing to plug them into AC power.
