Are you speaking from experience or just being snarky because its plastic? I've had one a few years I throw in my tool backpack and it's been great. I have a metal one for large jobs but I don't want to weight of carrying that everyday.

Aint no way I'm paying that for DIY. $3-5 at HF and its been fine for roofing, decks, patio cover, fences, and general cross cutting use. Short of losing it i haven't had any issues. $90 for a triangle is ridic.
Just a FYI, not for or against this deal (a good price if you just need to come close to square). I have one and didn't check it for square with my woodpecker squares (which are dead on balls accurate). Had to redo job for lack of square. I use it on shingling, rough building, layouts...ect. Just a FYI.
