I purchased 2 when they were $99, and although locked for 1 year they've been working flawlessly for several months now on Tello using MKSD Ultra V5.6

For those having trouble porting in from TracFone, Straight Talk, or Total Wireless, here are the steps you need to take at the porting part. This is based on my experience. I have successfully completed port-ins from these sites after working out this guide. The guide below is taken from Total Wireless port into Metro. It should be the same for Straight Talk and other TracFone subsidiaries including TracFone.

Port Info Needed:
Most can be found here
https://www.totalwireless.com .. my-account.. manage-lines
Line: Phone number
Account: Phone IMEI (Text Four to 611611 to confirm)
Zip code: Your zip code
PIN: Text NTP to 611611 to generate your PIN.

----------------------
At the Porting part.
1. Enter the port info.
2. Metro contacts Total Wireless. (See picture 1)
3. Metro throws an error even if you entered everything correctly. (See picture 2)
4. The error is because Total Wireless is contacting the line owner to warn them about the port. (See picture 3)
5. Click on Correct errors.
6. Re-enter everything again and make sure everything is correct.
7. Metro throws another error. The same one as seen in Picture 2.
8. This is a bug on Metro site.
9. Click on the X at the top right to close that error message.
10. Metro proceeds to completing the order.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you clicked on submitting the order to Metro, your Total/ST/Tracfone line is immediately inactivated on their respective site, not allowing you to port that line any further even if Metro denied your order asking you to contact them or go to their store for completing the order. In order words, you cannot reverse the porting at Total/ST/Tracfone. I spent 2 hours with Total and it was going nowhere.

Someone has said that you cannot add a 3rd line with the same phone (3 lines 3 iphone 13's), is that confirmed to be true? Because my 2nd iphone 13 is on its way. And I want to order a 3rd one.

Update: I was able to purchase 2nd line by changing browser, cleaning cookies etc. The deal was sweetened to $35 a month for Flex Plus plan :-) Finger crossed the order would go through.
What browser were you using?
Does it have to be new (not used in 1st order) credit card?
Do we need to change the address?

Tried for the second line 2 or 3 times failing. Called CS and they said go to store, thats not going to help.

The visible lines service will not drop until you activate the line on metro online after receiving shipment confirmation or once receiving metro phone. Looks like metro rejected your purchase, probably due to ordering multiple promos but could be a multitude of reasons. If you did not reach succesful order page with order # when checking out then your order did not go through.

1) Chrome. 2) Disabled AdBlocker and all cash-back extensions. Cleared the cookies 3) Login with my first line 4) Same address, same credit card. If order did not go through, make sure call the Metro port-in department at (800) 518-7519 to manually cancel it. My final price for the 2nd line is $49+$35+tax.

After running into issues trying to add a 2nd line with the free iPhone 12 promo back in November, I was finally able to successfully add 2nd lines using the steps outlined in the recent free iPhone 12 thread. After you receive and activate the first iPhone on the account, turn off wifi on the phone and then add the 2nd line while you are logged into your Metro account from the phone. I also used a different first name on the 2nd line and changed the delivery address by adding an 'A' to the delivery address, i.e. 123A Main St. Otherwise, I just used the same credit card and email address as on the 1st line. Doing this worked for me on multiple accounts.

Btw, one of my accounts had already been suspended for not paying the 2nd month of service when I went to add the 2nd line, so I used the one-time 72hr grace period option to reactivate the account and place an order for the 2nd line on the account. By the time I received the new iPhone, the 72hr grace period had expired so I thought I wasn't going to be able to activate the new phone. However, fortunately I got a very helpful Metro phone rep who, after a little convincing, was able to temporarily reactivate the account in order to activate the new phone and start the 365 day unlock countdown, even though I had already used my one-time grace period which she could see in her system.

I have no intention of continuing the Metro service and paying anything else beyond the initial amount I paid for the phones, but she also changed my plan on the account from the $75 first-line / $35 second-line plan, to a different one at $30 per line without charging their $50 fee for downgrading the plan in the first 6 months. I was able to verify this change went through without the change fee being charged by viewing my online bill. Since I'm allowing the account to cancel anyway, this is just a good data point if anyone else can benefit from it. Out of several calls to Metro, due to all their ordering issues, over the course of ordering a total of six iPhone 12/13's during the past 2 months, this was by far the only positive one.

Thank you, but I was not even able to place one order so far....the last metro deal I placed was back in 2022. Not sure why so many issues with me .. unfortunately my old iphone which I have the imei seems to be still locked with total wireless which is the reason I had to wait for psim 😔

Note sure if that's true. As I mentioned earlier, last night I "successfully" placed a third order, but I received a cancellation email a few minutes later and my credit charge was also reversed. Wish the 12 is in stock - I have zero interest in a 14 (maybe when it drops to $0 later this year).

I wonder if porting out one of the two lines works Smilie Will try that if another attempt fails.

Is it okay to have my second line mailed to the same mailing address as my first line?
