Why would you thumb down a deal that clearly says YMMV? Such behavior discourages others from posting items that may be available for some and not for others. Unless of course, you feel $1,999 isn't a good price for a $5,499 item, for those that can find it.

Bought 5 of them for my business all 5 broken with 6 months and no repair shop local that works on them which a waste of money I ended up buying Toro z turn replacements that have good customer service

It's slick cause of the price compared to what it normally sells for, not because of how it compares in your mind to another product

while this is absolutely correct, unfortunately the real trouble maker and unfortunately the most expensive part is the battery. large bat packs like this can be a disaster if not very well designed. from what I saw in the review, ego probably have some quick dirty bms design that can easily cause battery unbalance and then kill some cells, and that will ruin the expensive battery pack within a couple yeats.

technically the issue can be fixed, but you need very knowledgeable electricians and many hours, maybe $500 per battery repair Wink

I found a similar deal on Craigslist. I absolutely love this mower on my rural property. It's amazing for getting around tight brush, trees etc. I even use it to haul a trailer to move materials around. Love love love it.

My Lowe's had 5 in stock at $1999. 3 that were built but had been sitting outside and 2 still in crates. Bought a crate one and will pick it up Wednesday after they assemble it. Thanks OP! The batteries alone are with this price. I wasn't in the market for a mower but at this price I'll see how it compares to my 20 year old gas 48" husky

just came back from almost 1 hr drive and was lucky to find the last one in store. Swiped the card and set up the free assembly and delivery until Mid March. The store manager was so nice to remind me of printing out the receipt as the proof of purchase/warranty (5yr). Now I can rest my aging back. Big thump up for the OP.
