Why would you thumb down a deal that clearly says YMMV? Such behavior discourages others from posting items that may be available for some and not for others. Unless of course, you feel $1,999 isn't a good price for a $5,499 item, for those that can find it.

Bought 5 of them for my business all 5 broken with 6 months and no repair shop local that works on them which a waste of money I ended up buying Toro z turn replacements that have good customer service

It's slick cause of the price compared to what it normally sells for, not because of how it compares in your mind to another product

I agree with you... You could buy this, use it with ZERO MAINTENANCE for its shelf life, which not many would argue is shorter than gas of course, then you can go buy his gas mower that's 5 to 10 years old for 1500, ride it for the next 10 to 15 years, and you will have spent less money than if you paid 5k for his gas mower new plus the gas and maintenance involved in its years of use. The math says this is a slick deal

Got one for $1200. Had some bird shit on it but otherwise brand new. All four batteries are mfg same month in 2021… So they've been sitting a while. Hopefully I don't have to do a warranty swap on them. I recall some of the earlier 10ah batteries having issues.

it was brand new in the box all the way on the top shelf. It is off season now and the store is not in a hurry to get it assembled/delivered. So I took advantage of this and delayed the delivery to the last one in March.

Thanks OP! I actually scored one of these in Northern Virginia, and it was the closest Lowe's for once. I just called 2 stores (one was 10min drive) and the other 20min away. The farther store has 2 in stock but guy on phone said price was $4000 something. The closer store only had 1 left which was $1999. I went to go look at it, and it was good condition with 4 10ah ego batteries + new charger in box. We put the batteries in, test rode it, and spun up the blades inside the store. I didn't get free delivery so just had them load it into my minivan.

You bought one at the San Antonio Rim location. 1,999 in store and they had something like 9 or 10 left per the computer. One on display sitting out front outside (they can keep that one), the rest are assembled in the back.

Watch, someone else will buy it tomorrow and have it delivered sooner lol. I made sure the store moved my assembled one into the back before I pick it up tomorrow.

Bought one with a small rip in the seat from Jackson, CA. They gave me $500 off. When I showed up to pick it up they were out of the 10ah batteries so they gave me 12ah. Didn't even have to ask. Overall a good deal even though it took about 6 hours of my day to make this happen.

They had them all in the back. The guy checked the inventory and told me the situation and asked if wanted one that had been outside or wait for one to be built that was in a crate still.
