Why would you thumb down a deal that clearly says YMMV? Such behavior discourages others from posting items that may be available for some and not for others. Unless of course, you feel $1,999 isn't a good price for a $5,499 item, for those that can find it.

Bought 5 of them for my business all 5 broken with 6 months and no repair shop local that works on them which a waste of money I ended up buying Toro z turn replacements that have good customer service

It's slick cause of the price compared to what it normally sells for, not because of how it compares in your mind to another product

Mine is all charged up and ready to go, but I can't get it to move, nor does it find any new firmware.I can start the blade, but it won't move forwards or backwards, brake is disengaged.Any idea what's going on? The manual isn't very helpful (or I'm dumb and can't read). There is zero chance it's already updated since the sticker says manufactured in 2021 and the 4 batteries and mower all have 0 hrs, and they were in a sealed box.Lord help me if this thing is a dud. I'll have to rent a truck again to exchange it (actually, that's likely not an option). Hope Ego's support doesn't shun me because I didn't pay over $6,300 for the thing (after taxes).Or am I probably missing a step?1. insert the key2. press start/stop for ~1 second.3. the display is showing the battery % (100) and bluetooth connects to my phone. I do see a little key in a circle, too.4. the app never shows any way to check for firmware updates, nor does it ever find anything.5. hold the power button to fully power up.6. the blade spins, no problem.7. moving the arms to the "center" then forward or backward, the mower doesn't do anything at all. It will not move.8. please don't say it's defective, please tell me how dumb I am for missing a simple step.....
When the mower on and brake unlease does the icon handle bars on screen show up open to close flashing....

If you press the button to power on the mower, the lcd will light up. However, you need to press and hold the button down a few moments for the mower to be operational.
Hold 3 seconds

For what it's worth to anyone… bought one that was in a crate for $1999 when this deal was posted. Picked it up a few days later after they built it. Was a little dusty and came with all the batteries and charger. Batteries were at 5% when I got it. Brought it home and charged it up with no issues. Works perfectly fine and batteries hold a charge as expected. Registered for the warranty on the app and got the warranty extended from 3 to 5 years on the batteries for answering a few survey questions during registration.

Very happy with the purchase. Much more maneuverable than my old gas lawn tractor and cut the grass fantastic. I have about 9100sqft of lawn and still had plenty of battery left. My kids have been driving it around the property for fun and I have been using it to haul stuff around also.
No complaints here.

Manufacture date was April 2022 on everything.

I've found 6 now with no batteries...somewhere in the universe there is a mountain of lost batteries...if Lowes goes belly up its because of this mower fiasco
I did find out that Lowes PAID $4500 for each of these mowers thats a $2500+ loss on each machine...I'm going to start a GOFUNDME for Lowes

Ego 3rd party batteries. 10ah for $200ish on Amazon. There's a guy on YouTube that tests them and they work great. Ruzixt brand. I have on my cart to remember it in case I need more batteries.

Paid a Ryobi electric mower for 899 last year at Homedepot, and told me it was damaged when I picked it up. This Ego zero turn is definitely better deal. Zero turn worth another 800-1000.

Cancelled my pick up in southern NM, unit was rough and only a single battery. Sat outside for at least two years. They wouldn't discount much else.

I found 1 that they said was rough and it had 4 batteries and charger so we plugged it in to charge the batteries nothing...so in our conversation it slipped out this mower had been shipped out 2 times and returned 2 times...can you imagine Lowes was trying to sell this dud for the third time...scandalous! BEWARE
