Why would you thumb down a deal that clearly says YMMV? Such behavior discourages others from posting items that may be available for some and not for others. Unless of course, you feel $1,999 isn't a good price for a $5,499 item, for those that can find it.

Bought 5 of them for my business all 5 broken with 6 months and no repair shop local that works on them which a waste of money I ended up buying Toro z turn replacements that have good customer service

Seems as if you can get the serial# of the mower EGO should be able to tell you the manufacture date

I see a few people in my area selling the rider only assuming they bought it for the batteries and are asking 2500-3000 for the mower with no batteries. I had a opportunity to buy them but didn't because my yard is not huge so I really didn't need it. they had 4 at my store in crates last week. I went today to get some trim for wainscoting and asked about the mowers and now they're all sold out so that confirms the Facebook marketplace post lol

Barely a 3 yr warranty, not 5. Not sold at any relevant place and the places it does sell, normally charges a 20% restocking fee. The mower the Spartan RZ can't change cutting speeds. Most of the controls are Manual AND its over 5K. By the time you spend on gas, oil filters, oil, 2-spark plugs, batteries (its only 6 mo warranty), air filters, etc, you'll spend well over 1k in 5 yrs. The manufacturer data is on the sticker that shows the serial number. Foot rest area, left side.

Awesome customer service, Ego is sending two new batteries to replace bad ones that were on mower. I was instructed to call when I received the new batteries with the serial numbers and they will give me the remainder of the 5 year warranty on the new ones.

So Lowes called me and told me there was an issue with my mower when it came in. They originally told me they would try and order another one. The guy calls me back and says they can't get another one. Said the back tire had an issue and there was some cosmetic issues from sitting outside. Told me to come check it out and the manager would mark it down more. I went today to check it out. They already fixed the wheel. Some of the bolts were rusted and some sun fading. The lcd display was also broke, a $160 part. The manager dropped the price to 999.99. They are giving me 4 brand new batteries bc they took the batteries out of mine for another one. I would say that was a slick deal

Has anyone had theirs backordered but not cancelled? Mine was supposed to be delivered today, got a call Friday to confirm. Hadn't heard anything so I checked it online and it said backordered. I called the store and the girl said someone should've called me but they didn't. She said it's backordered and they're just waiting for it to come in. The charge went from pending to posted this morning.

Update on my "backorder". The manager from lawn and garden called. Sounded about 25. He said they sold all of them and it's up to the factory if they ship another one to the store for me. I asked why I wasn't called about it while I had taken off work for delivery. First, it was because I ordered online. When I told him someone from his store called me to confirm a delivery time. Then he pivoted to it was them dropping the ball. I asked him if my mower was sold to someone in store and he all but confirmed it. Said they had 3, one for delivery today and two that sold over the weekend. I said, well I was the delivery today so obviously you guys sold it out from under me. He said he'd look into it more tomorrow but I know I'm not getting one. Should've just driven the 2 hours to pick it up. Live and learn.
