stainless steel, carbon steel or cast iron is so much better for the finished product (you can actually sear/heat them up to higher heat without worrying about off gasses or the nonstick coating failing. once you make the leap you'll be wondering why you waited so long
as a cancer survivor, don't take the risk on yours and your family's health.
tl;dr: Buy 'pan protectors' and put them between your pans before you stack them in your cabinet to keep that nonstock finish looking new for a long time.
I agree with others, get stainless steel and use them properly or you will be buying a new set in 2-3yrs (or sooner).
Viking Contemporary can be found at Marshalls type stores for around $30-40 per pan, depending on size. I used these daily and they are quite nice and very durable. Otherwise I have heard good things of Made in Brazil Tramontina...but not the made in China variant. Costco can be either or, but I believe amazon and wayfair have the "made in Brazil" versions.

- can't heat them above medium heat
- can no longer use metal utensils
- can no longer stack them
The edges tend to peel, and the pots tend to blister on the bottom.
Don't let the chemical companies fool you into thinking that "I just need them for eggs!" or any other nonsense.
Restaurants and experienced home cooks don't use non-stick pans, and they cook 1000s of eggs a day.
Ditch plastic cooking utensils and plastic coated pans.
It will take you a couple of weeks to learn how to cook, and then you are set for life with a single set of Stainless, Cast Iron or Carbon Steel cookware.
Wait until you see the fond you create once you ditch the plastic...

They were great while they lasted, almost exactly a year, and I'm going to have them replaced under warranty hopefully but I would probably go cast iron if I had it to do again.
