Every time I fight the cord on my corded snowblower I think about how I don't have to fight whether or not it will start next season and that it's so light I can store it on a shelf.

Every tool has trade-offs but I'm not displeased with mine for this price it sure beats a shovel

Oh man I've had the snow Joe equivalent of this (looks identical) for like 13 years+ and it's still going strong.

I have had one for years, works great for small amount of snow...keep in mind its not gas powered, but is way better than by hand or using the powered shovels (had one of those too). Get a 12 gauge extension cord and will be good to go.

For anyone who has used, can this be used on gravel or does that create a rock gun?

Ordered one of these yesterday after seeing in the Snow Joe thread. Only a few bucks more and you get wider path. This one also has a 3 year manufacturer's warranty.

I have a cement driveway, but used a gas in the past with a stone drive... The trick is don't get completely down to the stone, try to leave a layer of snow if possible. This is light enough that it probably won't dig down much unless you force it

I'm reasonably sure that I don't want one with a plastic auger.

I can't find this product on their webpage. I have no idea about parts availability (none?).

Plastic augur is just fine
I have had this exact model for like 7 or 8 years now.
I also have a few toro power shovels that are ancient and those have plastic augurs too and they are fine, one is a little scraped because I used it to scrap the pavement of ice a S ton of times
It still works fine but I don't use those old toro shovels too much now that I got this green works because they are heavy and and you have to just lift it unlike the greenworks that you can just push.
The trick with the greenworks is to ram it hard into high snow if you have a big drift and then pull back and ram it again, rinse and repeat.
These things work great and I love mine and its so much easier that dealing with a two stroke engine and gas etc.
I did run over the cord a couple times and I was panicking because it was all wrapped around the augur and I was sure I was going to have to take it apart but I was able to get it off without taking anything apart and the cord is still good too, no damage.
Has the augur been metal it would have been a really bad end.

Generally speaking the electric ones get a little less close to the driveway it's why I'm willing to use these sort of things on my deck/flat roof when needed (I don't remember if I used this specific one or just the snow shovel shaped snow thrower by the same company on the plastic flat roof.) Do note if you push down on the front while clearing you're going to dig deeper so keep all your weight on the back and you should be fine as long as the rocks haven't been kicked up into the snow by drivers/pets. Aside from the whole won't dig into the ground aspect, I actually prefer a thin line of snow as it keeps some amount of traction during icy times 🤷

My driveway is river rock. Is there any chance this would work on it or will it break?

This got down to the $60's last year really fast with plenty of stock left. I bought it and works great for snow around 4 to 6 inches. Best to have a 12 gauge extension cord if need 100ft or 14 gauge thick at 50 ft.

I've had this model for probably 10 years. Every. Single. Bolt. has wiggled loose and, of course, was tossed into a snow bank when it fell out. This requires frequent trips to the hardware store to piece together solutions and replacements. But each set of nuts and bolts is still cheaper than buying a new one. 10/10. Would buy again.
