If anyone has the time or wherewithal, hit up AliExpress for a "skin" of the Snorlax plush. You can get a 40" one for like $20 and then just fill it yourself. Ends up being around $40 all in but let me tell you, the look on your kids will be priceless when you show up with a massive Snorlax. My kids still play and lay on after a year.

I own claw machines and stock them with these exact snorlax plus many other pokemon. They cost me $2 each to purchase. Pretty sure if you wanted to buy single it's still only around $5. If you don't mind long shipping times, aliexpress is the way to go for this type of stuff.

You're probably wrong when you say "these exact Snorlax". The vending machine/carnival variants are significantly cheaper material and are not stuffed with the same polyester filling. They tend to use a Styrofoam for the bigger stuffies such as these, and are actually very rigid and not soft at all. I did my research in hopes to buy a ton for the price of one of these in store ones, but I realized only the really small stuffies are plush and the rest are actually very rigid. These in store versions are more expensive because they're made of much better material and actually stuffed to be plush and soft.

You are not wrong about how much cheaper you can get the vending machine/carnival prize ones, however there's a huge quality difference. The Ali Express ones are not much better. They might be similar quality and plush, but they loose the official license and quality control is crap. Bought a "huge" 12 inch Charizard with a botched face. Shame because the material was actually really nice, maybe it was a discarded one from the official Pokemon assembly line :-/

Any type of polyester fill works! Or just find old pillows (Walmart sells super cheap pillows once in a while too) and rip the guts out

Have these pillow pokemon gotten significantly smaller? I looked at the Pikachu, and it looks a lot smaller than the one I bought last year. This snorlax also looks really small.

Nope. I do have the same exact ones with the correct licensing and even the same tag. Each one I received was individually wrapped and high quality. There's 100s of different variants on alibaba that you can choose from.
