You must be a barber…
Been shaving my head daily for the last 20 years. Money saved on hair cut and shampoo goes into my retirement fund.
I actually saved a lot from going to the barber thanks to the pandemic. Learned to cut my own hair from watching videos.

Is "Craftsman" the brand name you want associated with your haircut? Drill? Sure. Wrenches? Sure. String Trimmer? Sure. But hair cut?

Having said that, I had a decent amount wrapped up in their v20 products. How about a beard trimmer with that v20 batter?

Not even kinda practical v20 those big ass batteries?

I received the clippers I ordered today, Amazon delivered them in a box with Beach Camera/BuyDig tape.
The cut well. Build quality is nice, but guides included in box are garbage. Really thin plastic and difficult to put on and remove from clippers. Thankfully the Wahl guides fit perfectly.

You having Wahl guides I'm assuming you had Wahl clippers. Are these better? I only had Wahl brand clippers and had good luck.

this is not true at all. I've been cutting my own hair for 20+ years and saved over $20,000 in that time. I've gotten nothing but compliments on hair, but of course it's much more doable if you have a short hairstyle, can use both your right and left hand, have the proper mirrors, and dedication to practice.
I've saved tens of thousands by just looking like a homeless man and getting my hair cut every 4 months.

Love when people think they gonna save money cutting their own hair... you end up looking like you lost a fight with a weed whacker. Sometimes, paying a pro is the real 'deal'.
Found the guy that still feathers his hair.

I'm looking for high-quality hair clippers that will last many years. Would like something professional. I have a Wahl dual set I got from Costco but definitely on the cheap side. I had another Wahl set I got about 7 years ago that failed after a few years. The attachment I used wore out and got loose, the unit got loud and also the metal teeth chipped on about a 2 foot fall. They worked well enough for the price, so I tried the updated set from Costco when they failed and that later set failed after another 2-3 yrs. They worked okay, but don't seem to last that long only shaving once per week..

I'm fine with wire, open to wireless but prefer wired since battery operated will assuredly fail.

The quality of this pair doesn't look amazing
Oster Fast Feeds are the choice if you think these look cheap.

Havent been to a barber since 2009. I can line up, taper or cut my hair whenever I want.
Same here. I lost count on how many times my clippers have paid for themselves.

Started cutting my own hair 30 years ago when I realized I cared more about the results than the barber did. Always hit and miss results from them.

Took my time and got pretty good at it. Can't imagine how many thousands of dollars I've saved.

That "Wahl Homecut Adjustable" started crapping out last week. Totally dismantled the thing and found the power cable had a intermittent short. Cut out the bad section and I'm good for another 30 years.

Just used my Ace T trimmer as a trial run to cut my beard. Wow, it's sharp as heck. It did vibrate quite a bit and get a bit hot; I'm not sure if that's normal for a T trimmer. Haven't tried the Craftsman yet, though.

Speak for yourself, learned to give myself a clean a fade in high school and been doing it for 25+ years now. My fades are so clean all my friends used to ask for cuts and ended up being the resident barber for a number of years. Have fun blowing your $30-$40 every three weeks for a haircut.

Every 3 weeks? Man I go 5-8 times a year. To be fair my barber shakes so much and does a pretty crappy job. To be fair to him, he was old 30ish years ago when I first started going to him. His daughter sucked at it and quit but his grandson is a goddamned artist. (good luck getting an appointment (3 months out).

absolutely not!
Outlet gives you unlimited runtime, much stronger power and quality device will outlast you.
While battery-powered ones are designed to fail and they WILL fail forcing you to buy a new one.

I have about a half dozen cordless clippers, I'm not worried about one dieing on me mid cut. lol

I can understand your point about not running out of power, that said, that cord being constantly in the way is incredibly annoying, plus the freedom of not being tethered to a walll while cutting your hair, beard or pets here is well worth the added costs.

My mother was a hair stylist for 35 years, I've got corded clippers as well. They go unused due to the cord.
