An easy way to understand this is to remember:
Voltage is pushed. Current is pulled.

If you go over the spec'd voltage you'll do damage as the components are only rated at a maximum voltage. So never go over the voltage ratings.

However, current is drawn by the device up to its needs. If you have 20 amps available but your D2 maxes out at 15 amps, you're just not able to use those additional 5 amps but no damage will be done.

So you can have a 10w / 120v nightlight with a maximum amperage of .25 amps on a 120v/20amp home circuit. The extra amps just don't get used. But if you wire up a 100watt 12v light and plug into a home outlet if will do bad sparky things and burn up immediately because it is not built to take the 120v that is being pushed into it.

Hope that makes sense.

This is a great deal, especially after I picked up the Delta 3 1500 that doesn't come with solar cables.

Is there an advantage for an Ecoflow cable rather than a 3rd party cable (such as https://www.amazon.com/Goupchn-Co...B09ZDT51RX) with lower AWG and longer length?

EDIT: XT60 vs. XT60i. I see it now.

Someone reported that they get higher wattage with x60i on some 200w panels. I guess there will be no difference for 100w- panels

I got the 2x 200W Ugreen panel deal from awhile ago and still trying to find the right cables to use with them. The calculator I've used for it seems to indicate I need to use at least 14AWG, which matches these cables.

It came with adapters for mc4, you can get a couple of y connectors to run them into one mc4 with those https://a.co/d/i4xDKS5

These were $5 in the November sale. Still a great price if you need one.

Do you need two of these if you have two eco-flow panels but one battery?

No. You can run them both with one of these. Look up serial versus parallel panel configurations for your options.

No, assuming your battery only has one XT60i input, you only need/want one of these. As for the panel configuration, if you're able to stay under the max input voltage then doing the panels in series could work. Otherwise, you'll need a y cable to parallel them.

The XT60i has an extra contact on the side that lets the Power Station know what is attached to the input from what I read on EcoFlow's site. That may provide some benefit over the XT60. Not all power stations use the extra contact.

My detailed notes from their site:
"The XT60 cable has a current rating of 60A, while the XT60i cable has a current rating of 100A.

Solar to XT60 Charging Cable works best with RIVER mini/RIVER/RIVER Max/RIVER Pro/RIVER Plus/RIVER Max Plus/DELTA mini/DELTA/DELTA Max (1600).

Solar to XT60i Charging Cable works best with RIVER 2/RIVER 2 Max/RIVER 2 Pro/DELTA 2/DELTA Max (2000)/DELTA Pro.

XT60i is a variant of the XT60 with an integrated smart chip that allows for communication between the device and the battery management system. This smart chip feature in the XT60i connector is typically used in EcoFlow's products to enable intelligent power management and monitoring.

The EcoFlow Solar XT60i Charging Cable has an additional pin in the XT60 port which can detect if the input is solar input or car input.

The EcoFlow Solar to XT60 Charging Cable and the EcoFlow Solar to XT60i Charging Cable are universally compatible with all DELTA/RIVER series models.

But if I use Y connectors, that means I'm running in parallel which means I'm adding the current. That means max current becomes 21A which exceeds the 15A max of my Delta 2. I think I need to wire in series.

I run 2 panels in parallel at just under 20 amps. I think the ecoflow limits it to 15amps on its own.
