The real deal here is the bead blasted Kershaw Leek for $37.99. I didn't shop around at all the popular knife retailers, but on Amazon it is currently $61. I've never owns one, but Leeks get ridiculously good reviews from their owners.

$29.99 is also a good price for the Cold Steel Thai machete they've got on sale if you click on the more link. Probably not the most practical blade unless you got brush to clear, but sure does look like a lot of fun.

Is the leek price a reflection of inflation? Or have the materials or place of production changed? I have a backwash leek I got via Slickdeals Walmart link for $19.79 in July of 2020.

The only one that's actually a fair deal is the 3-bead blasted Leek.

SOG Flash AT sells for less than $20 sometimes. OT 194OT can be found for less than $10. Blackwash Leek is what they typically sell for. Leek is an excellent knife, especially for those who don't mind assisted.

The Leek is an all time classic. One of the GOATs of pocket knives.

Leek is a little too big for edc. Chive is too small. Scallion is perfect

I've got the Leek composite blade that they've since discontinued. I'm on my 3rd one as I had to ditch one at an airport (forgot it was in my pocket) and I lost one. I think they're the perfect size for EDC.

I don't think it's typical to get USA made pocket knives (particularly popular models from established brands) for under $30.
Depends on the model right, there's a few USA Bucks.

Hmm... Last time woot had a deal on the Ken onion leak the ones I received were obviously knockoffs. I sent them back for a refund and not sure I want to try it again.

Good build quality but pretty cheap steel imo. Even for that discounted price I could find knives with better steel. Nonetheless still great quality.

Leek is a great knife but the tip is way too fragile, mine broke after less than 6 months of light use.

These used to go on sale for around $20 before Covid. Yes, made in USA. I bought one then and lost it. I've been waiting to see if it will ever go under $30.
I feel like that was WELL before COVID, the 20 dollar in 2020 price above is, imho, an outlier.
I've been watching (and buying) Kershaw deals for years.

Looks like most of the good deals are gone, some of these are hillariously bad like the "EDC card" for 10 bucks and the radio holders that are like 2.50 a pop on ali at 20 for 2.

I still have 4 brand new Kershaw leeks brand new in the box. I got the olive green, blackwash, composite and the regular silver for about $25 each some years back when they had great sales and the $10 coupons on Amazon. I miss those days. I have a lot of knives and give a lot as presents. The leek is an excellent knife.

Wow, this is a great price - I paid $50 for my blackwash leek back in 2016 and it's been my EDC literally every day ever since. It's been through a lot - including the wash, twice!

I was surprised to see someone say they use the Leek for woodworking. The tips on the Leek and the Chive do have a reputation for snapping off.

I think the Ken Onions are fantastic "slicey" EDCs for the money (and feel great to flick open!), but they wouldn't be my first choice for "heavy" work or even camping.

Same. Real shame we can't trust woot, eBay sellers and daily deal sites in general to not source knockoffs 😞
