I own a similar one I bought last year on a slick deal. Says Pro Series on it and is in stainless steel. Same price as this deal. It's not bad, but not great. I'm starting to realize that very few toasters toast evenly.

The best toaster I've owned was the cheapest toaster I bought which was Wirecutter's recommendation. I've had breville, smeg, etc. This Cuisinart one for $30 bucks does the trick.

If it's that wide you'd think it only toasts one side of the bread better than the other?

Edit: "auto centering guides for even toasting". I guess that solves that, not noticeable in images.

Yeah, it has guides that close in on the toast. I think they all have it now, but it's still uneven. I usually have to toast each one twice and turn it around

Better to use air fryer for toasted bread or actual toaster?

That sounds awful, thanks for the heads up!

Toaster I would think. Airfryer will take a while to even start heating your bread and by that you would've eaten your toasted bread from toaster.

Should be called a "Texas Toaster" for simplicity.

Agree own 4 toasters through the years, Costs $20 to $80. In some cases the cheap $20 toaster does a better job with waffles/bagles etc.

I bought the Cuisinart toaster recently based on the wirecutter and it doesn't toast evenly. I didn't even know this was a problem as I had an even cheaper Black and Decker toaster that lasted 14 years

So Bella, whos known for making poor quality $5-10 appliances is now charging $20-25 for a lot of things. Did they improve their quality, or are they just increasing profits?

The pro series is a little fancier. I got one on a previous deal and I think the regular price was $40
