Free Shipping hits at +$99
Spent a lot of time adding a few smaller items only to bail on the cart after a $12 shipping charge killed the deal.

I got a postcard in the mail about this sale. I needed a Torrentshell jacket for a trip next week. Card indicated sale started on 1/16. Torrentshell was $179 on 1/14. I checked again and it was $106 on 1/15 (I bought it then). Checked on 1/16 and it was $125 and they were out of the size and color I got on 1/15. Just a note for anyone following these sales that you may get a better deal the day before.

R2 tech fleece is probably the best deal but the color is pretty ugly

I'm considering the better sweater full zip just not sure if it's worth $110 plus tax etc. I have the quarter zip and it is pretty warm.

Finally got a Men's Better Sweater® 1/4-Zip Fleece in Industrial Green. Feel like I've been waiting years for that to go on sale for a semi-reasonable price. Miss the days from before COVID when you could get these things on occasional sale for $60-$70.

I was able to get brown, blue, and stonewash decently priced. Black and Industrial Green have been the popular colors that I never saw go on sale below $90.

Patagonia has a very generous return policy. If I see this drop before the end of the season, I can always return to a nearby store in exchange for the cheaper deal. But I doubt that's going to happen.

When does patagonia has the biggest discount for their website special? I do remembered that last Oct, they had some of their kids down jacket for half price. Also I bought some shirt when April.

Sometimes they have the initial sale then do a deeper discount sale later for unsold goods. That's when you get the most off but then the sizes and items are obviously more limited.

So wait a month and chance the items in your size/color still being there or you buy now at 40% while you have the chance. I'm sure when the 50% sale starts in a month there will be comments saying bad sizes/colors.
