Ive had it for a month, returned other Black Friday deal tvs. It's a great tv for its price and specs, 600 nit with local dimming, I love it, Blacks are Black. You won't find another at this price. At least not now, (and please don't compare anything outside of 200$ range) most tv at market around this price or below usually don't have local dimming and only around 300 nit. Search Hisense U6H and you will find the older post of this tv, most people are satisfied with this TV, also check out https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense/u6-u6h , it's definitely worth every penny at this price. this tv does have Narrow viewing angle, but I'm using it for my bed room so it's great. And although it's a 2022 model, it's produced in recent months.
Dawg if you have a OLED Sammy or LG and you are asking if this piece of shit compares then of course not. With that said, it will be perfect for a bedroom, or even a living room if you aren't too far away from it and don't have a comparison in your head from a sweet model you mentioned

It's a solid TV, especially for $218. I just got one yesterday for a guest bedroom, and I am extremely happy with it. And on top of that, I got 10% cash back with Capital One Shopping.
QD Mini LED with actual 600-nit peak brightness. Over 94% DCI-P3 color space coverage makes its colors really pop. VRR support (up to 60 Hz).
Its Google TV interface is actually usable and not as sluggish as other cheap, entry-level TVs. I only noticed the TV struggle a bit when watching YouTube 4K HDR videos.
What more can you ask for especially at this price.

How are you getting 10% back on the Capital One shopping app? It says Walmart is only 1% cash back right now
Probably not good to discuss here.
Bonus email links. All I'll say.

To confirm that you are wrong. It is the mini led model...
Not Not Not.

It does have local dimming but Not mini led. And very, very few zones.

Have the FireTV version. Best bang for your buck in picture quality. Using as an outdoor TV and the 600 nits help a lot. I bought a cheap 50 Samsung and I couldn't see the screen when the sun was out.

How are you weather proofing the tv?

Curious, is this better than a 2018 TCL 6 series? I've been out of the TV game for too long..
Lol. I've got the 2018 Series 6. 65" Still looks and works like brand new.

Bought this Hisense for bedroom.

'Not' a night and day difference. Maybe marginally though.

Good price. Probably appropriate though, considering it's a 2022 model. Get the 5 year extended warranty for $42.

compared to this 50-in model, their 65 in model of basically the same thing cost us 351 after taxes . Costco has the same thing we have right now for 379.00https://www.costco.com/hisense-65...72280.htmlso slightly under 400, you can do better, but only in the size Factor.for $200, and the exact same screen tech, it looks like the Opie's deal is a great one :-)the only complaint I have about my TV is being tied to the alexa/ Amazon operating system, and the Opie's deal has Google as its operating system --which is easier to work with in my experience.otherwise, easily the best TV I've ever owned :-)
Costco is QD6 while walmart is U6.

I returned Costco a week after Black Friday and picked up the U6 from Walmart. I think the Sound was better on the QD6 though, but overall I much prefer the U6H

ANYONE have one of these ? Is this more spare bedroom tv or is it a primary? 600nits hmmm Coming from Samsung QD-OLED / LG Signature. —Appreciate your feedback 🙏
I bought it a couple weeks ago and I think it's great. My only complaint would be that the speakers aren't too great atleast not while hung on the wall

this is actually a quality tv, the only thing is that it's only 50" which is pretty small for today's standards.

Yeah, but it is pretty "whatever" to compare it to any OLED, lol.

It is Not mini led. Read up on FALD, mini led, etc.
It has so few dimming zones, it wouldn't matter if it were mini led anyway.

A bit O/T, but does anyone have experience using IPTV on a Google TV? Is using a VPN needed, and is it native on the TV? Any input appreciated.

I picked up the hisense 50" $100 on black friday and I must say I am very impressed with the picture.
It's a good bedroom or "other room" TV. I would assume the picture on this one is much better, and for this price if you are in the market I would say to go for it. It's only once in a blue moon the $130 QLED shows up, and I haven't seen one in a year or so
