At least one of the prices should be in the title and in the post. So it may be how the post was done, and the fact that it wasted a lot of peoples time, as much as this specific deal
TT Deluxe may tell you while entering info you should upgrade to Premier. Just ignore and proceed with Deluxe
How much you want to bet that Amazon posts its sale the day Costco's offer goes live.

I know for certain that TT Premier handles this through its Q&A process (done it many times) but I am not sure about TT Deluxe. I suspect it can handle this issue, but maybe not with straightforward guidance.

You don't have to pay for certified mail just to get tracking. It's like a $2-$2.50 add on unless USPS changed something. And most of the time you don't even need tracking. Just keep your receipt proving that you mailed stuff. You are either getting a refund or you're paying extra. If your check isn't cashed after a couple of weeks then maybe stuff got lost. Refunds may take longer though. Governments don't like giving money back.
