Also, the poster is newish so might not know this, but "$ off" or "% off" posts aren't done here because they're not useful. It doesn't mean anything, and those offers are often deceptive.

At least one of the prices should be in the title and in the post. So it may be how the post was done, and the fact that it wasted a lot of peoples time, as much as this specific deal

I used deluxe with a home based business and also buying & selling stock.
TT Deluxe may tell you while entering info you should upgrade to Premier. Just ignore and proceed with Deluxe

This Costco offer for TurboTax Deluxe + State at $45 ($56-$11) is essentially the same as the Amazon offer in the link from last year but includes a $10 TurboTax credit (e.g. to e-file state taxes) instead of a $10 gift card.

How much you want to bet that Amazon posts its sale the day Costco's offer goes live.

Let me know when the home and business version is $65 again
You can buy the basic $36.99 and upgrade it with a chase and or Citi offer for $20 off. Will turn out to be $56.99 if you did the intuit credit or ten more but you get Amazon Gc.

I reached out to Costco Support after asking here and they stated that it may not be fulfilled until Monday. Certainly doesn't line up with their email comms.

9hrs here and reached out as well. They told me it could take 24hrs, although it usually takes 1-2hrs. Going to cancel and do Amazon if it doesn't show up tomorrow morning.

I ordered Turbo Tax 4 hours ago and haven't received my download redemption code that is supposed to be sent in one hour. Should I be worried?

Sorry! Didn't read the previous replies.

Is Deluxe enough for a sole proprietor business or should I get home and business? TIA

Cancelled my online purchase and picked one up at a B&M. Customer service over the phone was able to confirm that no code was emailed to me yet. Suggested to wait for the code and give them a call back so that they can issue a refund.

Do you have investment property? If so, would love to know how you get by using only Deluxe (not Premier). If you don't, then I won't challenge your comment.
Deluxe desktop has schedule E for investment properties. Works just fine. Don't fall for the Intuit upsell scam.

Have you used it? I have been using premier since having investment properties, save one year where i bought deluxe, and things got all kinds of effed up (until I then paid to upgrade from deluxe to premier).

Yes, although it's been a little while. I had no issue. I'm curious what the difference was if you can go back and look. And that was for the desktop/download version? Online is a whole different ballgame.

Was like 2-years ago, don't honestly remember what happened, but was like it didn't import the #'s right / things got all garbled. Was CD (desktop) version. Anyhow, I appreciate your sharing your experience, high likelihood was something stupid I was doing wrong, so hopefully others can just go with Deluxe and save the $$$ but for me, already enough hassle/stress to deal with the BS of tax filing, and on top of my anecdotal experience, will stick with premier.
