A Visible # works fine for porting in. $5 for that after using a referral code found easily on Reddit. Google Reddit Visible referral.

I hope this is helpful for others to be well informed.

After activated, the 60-day unlock countdown begins and it should unlock automatically after 60 days pass. After the first month you do not have to pay for 2nd month if you do not want to keep their service. It will still unlock after 60 days.

How do we get the account number and pin,?
I think your phone number is an account id, and pin can be unlocked if you pay $3 fee. I never done it before, lol

This isn't true anymore I just got done with the total rep and my device had to be reactivated for the remaining 28 days since I didn't keep it activated the full 60. Must be a new thing they're pushing. Oh well I just paid for the $35 plan as its still worth it to get my moto edge unlocked within the next month.
So you had passed 60 days, without moving the line to another phone, or moving the sim card if applicable into any other phone for even a second in your first 30 days of service and the phone did not auto unlock after the date you received when texting unlock to 611611? I ask because their posted unlock policy has not changed, which is 60 days from activation of a new line and not what you were told by rep. From past experience phone reps tends to just go with the most convenient explanation they can think of. Moving the active line or sim card into a new device even for a second can change the IMEI associated with the line and botch an auto unlock.

One their website, there is a FULL PRICE of $249 for iphone 13. What does that mean?

I don't need a plan, bring my own number? Does that mean the phone is UNLOCKED? (uhm, it has to be locked when they sell their phones)
you still need to pair it with the plan. Cheapest is $40, so total is $290. Same unlocking game.

13 is the last iPhone with a physical SIM so I kinda agree. However every android phone still has a SIM slot so not that important to me
The iPhone SE 4 mockups have a sim try slot so this may not be accurate for much longer

Not worth it to get iPhone 14 for $360. Apple will have iPhone 16E in April and it is rumored to be $499 and a much better phone.
Exactly. Too much for an ancient phone. Wait for the new SE.

He's full of it, nothing changed with the unlock process. Pay for one month leave the phone alone for 60 days and it's unlocked.

This charts because a lot of lower priced services still use physical SIM cards…so a "budget" iphone without a physical slot would be nonsensical. At least for this round.

This is my experience, had gotten a moto edge in dec. Have still not been able to switch.
I have tried with GV and also lyca. CS for total is a pain to deal with. I have given up, i have a locked phone with a paid plan. I am not sure what to do now.
Able to switch to what? The phone is locked for 60 days, 60 days from any day in December isn't here yet.

Agree with you, though i do believe them that they were given that explanation by a confused/misinformed rep and trying to gather data points if any on what could have lead to that situation if 60 days had indeed passed.

Do you mean I can't port out my number within 60 days for it to be unlocked? That way I have to pay for at least another month of service at total to keep the number.

Noob question as a non-apple user:

Both the phones have the same processor and storage and both use the old lightning port. What's the advantage of paying the extra $160+tax for iphone 14 vs the 13?

The 14 has 6GB of ram vs 4GB in the 13. slightly improved camera spec and glass strength, no physical sim slot with the US version of the 14.
Those are the main differences.

When it comes to trade for upgrade deals between carriers, Currently a majority of deals tend to have a cutoff for highest promoted value with the iPhone 12, a few going down to the 11, So with the the 14 you'll have 2 new phone cycles/generations to have it be eligible for full value when it comes to a majority of trade in upgrade deals compared to 1 with the 13

Are you guys repeat buyers? TW and ST have an address ban implemented for repeat buyers. That means it's a ban by billing or shipping address.
