I'm a sucker for medical dramas so I watched Transplant which is currently streaming on Peacock. It ran for 4 seasons and is about Bash, an ER doctor from Syria, who immigrated to Canada to start a new life. Unfortunately, this review is going to be negative. I'm not a fan of flashbacks and Transplant had way too many. I ended up skipping thru them. Bash looked stoned most of the time. I couldn't stand the actress who played his girlfriend so I skipped thru every scene that she was in. The story with Bash's sister didn't go anywhere so I skipped thru that. Theo got weird after the first season so I started skipping thru his scenes. June was weird throughout the whole show. It was expecting something more to happen with her but it never did. There aren't any nurses at this hospital. The doctors did the patient care and surgeries all by themselves. Talk about needing a reality check. Some of the medical scenes were too graphic for my taste. My big criticism of Transplant is Season 4. If you're going to watch it, here's your spoiler alert. They didn't have to kill off Mags. If you have a heart condition, you aren't going to want to watch this. There was no reason to for her to die. It didn't improve the story. Bash and Mags deserved a happy life for all that they had been thru. She got her new heart and was changing her life to deal with her condition. It was very depressing to see her die like this. She was so full of life and energy and then she was gone. The whole thing sucked. I have nothing more to say about it. No stars.

My comment on Tilly Norwood. Computers put everybody else out of business but it's only a problem when AI goes after Hollywood? If they can use AI to make bots look and act so real that you can't tell it's a computer, then count me in. We'll get better tv shows and movies for less money. Maybe AI can play sports, too, and we can bet on our favorite bot. Do I like all of this this technology? Hell no. I think the world would be better off without Apple, Facebook, and Google but this is what everybody seems to want. A world where the mobile phone replaces human interaction. Having AI bots replace us is the next logical step. We're the weak link. If bots can think, why would they keep us around? Bots aren't going to blow up the world. Bots don't get cancer. Bots don't care what country you're from. Bots don't need food to survive. Best of all, we could skip the Trump bot. All of our problems would be gone because we wouldn't be here. Can bots love and would they form relationships? Maybe not but aren't love and jealousy the source of all of our problems? I'm just playing around but the future isn't that far away.

What's the story with the golfer's wife? There's some golfer that everybody hates. The crowd was insulting him so he told them to f off and took some guy's phone. Then the crowd went after the golfer's wife and threw some beer at her. A reporter for Glamour wrote a story saying how sexist men are because of this. The whole thing makes no sense to me. I don't follow golf so I don't know who any of these people are. Why would the crowd go after the guy's wife? Because they hate women? Was the crowd all men? Like I said, I don't get it.

For those of you who like Coca Cola products, Dollar General again this week (ends Saturday) has a great deal.

3 12 packs of Coke are $15 and there's a $2 digital coupon.
3 6 packs of bottle Coke are $12 and there's a $2 digital coupon on them as well. (It says, $2 off $8 or more of Takis or bottle Coke, but works with just these Coke.)

I just finished Line of Duty on Peacock and it's fantastic. It's a British crime drama about police corruption than ran for 4 seasons. It might be the best show I've streamed so far. I also watched Trigger Point, which was about a British bomb squad, but it wasn't very good. If my life depended on that lady saving me, it would be curtains. She'd be having a sandwich and talking with her mates while the bomb was ticking.

FYI there are 6 seasons of Line of Duty. I had watched the first 4 on Prime and then the 5th one on Hulu. Found out there's a 6th season - seems to only on BritBox or Netflix (I don't have either at the moment). Will have to add it to my list.
I agree - it was a really good show.

OMG!! Thank you!! 2 more seasons of Line of Duty!! Is the 5th season on Netflix or just Hulu? If it's on Netflix, I'll sign back up immediately. If not, I'll have to watch the 5th season on Hulu and the 6th season on Netflix. I'm very excited about this. I'm a huge fan of crime fiction. Ian Rankin (Inspector Rebus) is my favorite author and it's very rare that I find a crime show that compares to one of his books. Line of Duty does. This is awesome news!! I'll have to lock myself up for a couple of days and binge watch the rest of it.

I had a theory on how Line of Duty would end. I accepted that I was wrong after the last show of Season 4 but maybe I was right after all. I can't wait to find out.

I agree - it was a really good show.
Line of Duty is not on Netflix even though AI told me that all 6 seasons are available as of July 2025. What a bummer...

I may have to check this one out = I added it to my ever growing list. I've been having a hard time getting into watching streaming series lately. It seemed like all I've done the past several years is watch TV and maybe it's getting old for me. That, and now my husband retired once again (for the third time) it's hard to find uninterrupted time to watch in peace. Except for some sports, he's not much of a TV guy which makes it harder for me to watch. Have a great rest of the weekend.

I need to find out where I can watch the last 2 seasons of Line of Duty. Peacock has the first 4. I think that Hulu has season 5 but I'm not sure about season 6. I don't know how to find out without signing up. The best shows I've seen in the past year are Line of Duty, Borgen, and The Queen's Gambit. Inventing Anna was also very good. The Journalist was an unexpected surprise. I clicked on it not expecting much but I was blown away. Chernobyl was excellent but some of the stuff was made up. I focused on the special effects. The best I've ever seen by far. I enjoyed Dead to Me with Christina Applegate. Her friend Judy was amazing but what really was amazing was that Christina Applegate finished the last season while having MS. Deadwood was excellent (the series, not the movie) but you have to be ok with very bad language. I mean, very, very bad language but from what I've read it's how people in the Old West really talked. Ian McShane gives an incredible performance as the saloon owner Al Swearengen. The conversations between Al Swearengen and Mr Wu are something else. I started off hating Deadwood but as I kept going I realized that I was watching a masterpiece.

You can always do a free trial of Hulu (even if you've done it before - just use a different email address.)

Have you watched Spooks? That was also really good (I really like the British crime dramas). Keeley Hawes was it in (she was in Line of Duty second & I think third season.) and also Matthew McFayden who was in Succession. I think it's still on Prime.

I have to watch Spooks. Keeley Hawes was brilliant as Leslie Denton in Line of Duty and Matthew McFayden was awesome as Tom in Succession. I'm currently watching Prime Suspect with Maria Bello on Peacock. I just finished the first episode and I'm enjoying it. There are a lot of actors in Prime Suspect that I've seen in other shows including Jason Beghe of Chicago PD. I'm not a big fan of Hulu (way too many commercials) so I'd rather not watch Line of Duty on that streaming service but my desire to see how Line of Duty ends is greater than my dislike of Hulu.

On a totally different topic, can anyone recommend a soap or body wash with no fragrance? I also need a deodorant with no fragrance. I'm having huge allergy problems. A lot of the time when it says no fragrance there's actually a very strong fragrance and I need something with no smell. Some things that I'm allergic to are Dove, Axe, Old Spice, Dial hand soap, All detergent, Snuggle, Head and Shoulders, and Gain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best place I've found for where to watch a series or movie is IMDB dot com. International Movie Data Base. I typed in Line of Duty and it had a long list of what channels/networks have what seasons. It's great for synopses of shows if you want to get a clue if you even want to watch something, looking up actors to see what else they've been in, etc.

One thing I have learned is fragrance free just means no added fragrance. The ingredients can still have a smell and I might have issues with those smells. I am assuming the list you gave are just the normal formulations. I use the All Free and Clear (or something like that) and it works great for me. For other products I just try to find products with real things rather than chemicals in them...or at least as much as possible. That usually helps. For APDO I use the Secret Clinical Free. There is a 3 in 1 Suave kids body wash that I like (this is for my husband as I cant handle him using anything too scented either but I use a variety of body washes, mostly from natural type companies). Actually I think all the kids ones are ok by me but he doesnt like smelling like bubble gum or blueberries LOL Maybe try J&J no more tears version for you?

Gain will give me a 2 day migraine.
