Deluxe no state was billed $28.60 plus a physical gift card arriving monday. Total cost is $18.60 then?. Did they already take off the gift card amount? Strange

Yes TT made this change last year. It used to be a registry hack and you reset when you needed more. But last year they started to limit 5 e-files per license key. When you e-file, the software validates with the TT server. You can install the software unlimited number of machines but you are limited to 5 e-files per license key.

If I had a Costco membership I'd buy from Costco without the markup

Rather have the $10 in-app credit than $10 gift card.

Plus Amazon scheduling their discount to coincide with Costco's deal is a lame move 😒They should've kept to their own traditional discount period of end of December.
