Not gonna buy a Sony earbud product anymore. Not until they fix the battery drain issue that is happening on both WFXM4 and XM5's

I had a pair. The battery degraded by in a year or so. Down to 20 min use time. I love them but won't buy another pair

I got a new pair of these on sale before Christmas for $200 and they sound absolutely amazing for buds. Fit and comfort is highly subjective but I find the fit adequate, nothing great. They are a bit slippery and feel like your handling big glass jellybeans. Noise canceling and passthrough modes sound great to me. I am hoping I don't end up having battery issues but for now they are fine. For $115 they are a steal if you get a pair in good condition.

I just bought these. I had the XM4s for almost 2 years and loved them but the right bud eventually couldn't hold a charge for more than 30mins. The 2 year Allstate warranty gave me a refund without any hassle. This is a no brainer purchase

If Sony addresses this for the XM5s, they'd be hard to beat in terms of sound quality and noise cancellation at this point, especially with the 2-year warranty as a safety net.

I love the way these sound and anc is top notch

But for me, the foam tips don't change or move with your ears if you eat or talk, eventually they'll get loose and fall out

I'll need to replace them with aftermarket silicone tips eventually which will make n worse

Hope they use silicone tips for the next gen

I replaced mine with Airfoam Pros, been super happy with them. Makes the ANC even better.

Battery replacement was fairly cheap and easy. I wanna say it was like $20 to do mine.

I bought the batteries off of Amazon. This is for the earbuds but you can also do the case. There are youtube videos showing how to replace them. It was very easy to do.

I got the XM4s and had to use the All-State Warranty after about 15 months due to the battery not keeping a charge. Got full refund. I got the XM5s about a year ago and there's definitely some battery life degradation.

Think of the $116 as a deposit to use these excellent earbuds for about 18 months.
