Did you miss where I described the options of Eco or non-Eco mode? The heater does not have to run constantly. Additionally you have real control over the water temperature when the bidet has a tank and flash heater. Running hot water to a bidet you lose control over the water temperature unless you also use a recirculating pump to keep the hot water temp relatively stable. So now you have a pump drawing power, and your water heater working constantly to maintain hot water temperature. Less than ideal.

Bought an older version of it a few years back through Costco deals. It broke in year 3. The seat is no longer warmed and most other functions stopped working too.

Thats a different model. The one listed in costco is 1200L doesn't work with app. But you can control the water temperature through the remote.

I opened mine up (only 4 or 5 screws) and physically removed the piezo buzzer. So much better. The nozzle maybe if you soak it in CLR or vinegar for a couple of hours would help unclog.

I bought the CS1000 model with the remote (attached nearby for easy button presses) about five years ago and like it a lot. I run it in eco mode, seat is slightly warm, wash jet takes a few seconds to warm up if not recently run but is never colder than room temperature, much warmer than cold faucet water.
It costs about $3 per month of electricity at Northeast rates (uses a few hundred watts when heating water quickly). I don't use the heated air dry, as other's mentioned it takes a long time, and it's a good idea to wipe with paper for times when the jet misses spots which sometimes happen. And I like the massaging effect.

I've owned one of these for probably 5 years or so. Love it. Having the remote mounted on the wall makes it much more user-friendly, as compared to the Toto one I have in the other bathroom, with the functions alongside the seat. Literally everyone complains about that one. This one, however, I can recommend.

Forgot to add that I LOVE the warm water and heated seat functions, this time of year. Amazing. I never use the dryer function. I don't really see the point. You still use paper, just less of it. And you feel like you had a shower after every visit to the loo.

I did have to run outlets to both toilets... fortunately there was an outlet on the other side of the wall that we could tap into. Then for a while I lived in a house with 5 bathrooms. Literally not one was able to have an outlet run to it. I really missed my bidet! Nowadays when looking at houses, I always check to see if an outlet near the toilet is a possibility. Big Grin

I'm not a fan of this Bio Bidet model as ours 💩 out on us after 2 years and it was out of warranty. I think Toto has better versions for sale at Costco.

I installed this one last night. Had kind of a hassle getting it to slide onto the bracket and click, it's a little longer than I'd like but I was done hassling with it try to get it back farther. Gonna get a new toilet eventually anyway.

Remember you'll have to squeeze the rubber top anchors in firmly to get them to go in properly.

Would a 15 amp line be fine for something like this? I am redoing a bathroom and adding an outlet behind my toilet just to have it. Running the cable to box I can access on that floor and in future I would need to run a line from panel to that box.

Yes, this model uses 600W, others though use 1500. I always prefer to install a 20A for extra headroom (it doesn't cost much more) and future proofing, but a 15A is a-ok as well.
