These are great shoes. As an fisherman, I already owned a pair. This is such a no brainer, I had to buy another pair.

I know. I think it might just be only one (and he already weighed in).

This reminds me of a special pair of detective show boots I had back in the 80's.

If you don't know, you don't need this. But seriously, sometimes you are on rock, sometimes in mud, sometimes in a Kayak or on a boat in the surf, etc and all require different types footwear of safe footing. Based on the description I would consider these deck shoes.

I've had the UA Kilchis for a few months. In short: they're comfortable, dry quickly, but the traction is terrible.

I fish from the bank and have slipped multiple times in one day wearing these. The outsole is smooth, or should I say "lacks teeth". On any type of slope , gravel, or smooth rock (especially when it's wet) you really have to be cautious. I went back to hiking boots and trail runners, and use these for casual activities.

Also note the insole is just a mesh layer. It is not padded or anything like you would see in most tennis shoes. Still comfortable, but if you are expecting it to be cushioned you might want to reconsider.

That's a shame. These could have been nice. Thanks for the report, especially as they are advertised as "sticking to the rocks. "

I bought a cheap pair of ice cleats and used on jetty rocks with green slimes without problem. It's not comfortable for a long term wear but work really well.
