This reminds me of a special pair of detective show boots I had back in the 80's.
I fish from the bank and have slipped multiple times in one day wearing these. The outsole is smooth, or should I say "lacks teeth". On any type of slope , gravel, or smooth rock (especially when it's wet) you really have to be cautious. I went back to hiking boots and trail runners, and use these for casual activities.
Also note the insole is just a mesh layer. It is not padded or anything like you would see in most tennis shoes. Still comfortable, but if you are expecting it to be cushioned you might want to reconsider.
