See those little orange foam circles on the bottom? They are polyethylene foam. It's just like the packing foam you find in certain new product packages. They wear down fast or just fall/rip off if you step on something the wrong way.

Everything else about the shoes is pretty nice, but I don't recommend them because of the stupid packing foam soles.

Skechers won't offer you durable outsole so that you will have to order new ones sooner. It is great and comfort for short walking but just won't last.

See those little orange foam circles on the bottom? They are polyethylene foam. It's just like the packing foam you find in certain new product packages. They wear down fast or just fall/rip off if you step on something the wrong way.

Everything else about the shoes is pretty nice, but I don't recommend them because of the stupid packing foam soles.

Haven't had these but wides in other Skechers are huge. Unless you really have like EEE feet, don't go with the wide.

Does sketchers even have rubber soles anymore? Last few pairs, have been that foam sole. Such that if you walk on grass for a few minutes, your feet feel moist.

I have some Go Walk Arch Fits that have a Goodyear sole showing little wear and now going on 2 years as my dailies, love them.

I've bought these shoes twice.

Didn't have the issue your talking about . BUT. The insoles don't last long if you on your feet for 8 to 12 hrs a day.
They are a dream to walk on though.
