Yep... people don't seem to realise those additional components needed add up fast.

A lot of people here seem to think that all-in-one units (like Bluetti, Ecoflow, Pecron, etc.) should be just barely over the bare-minimum price of the battery size they have inside them. Nevermind all those extra components like the solar charge controller(s), AC charger w/ UPS switchover, USB, DC out, etc.

Economies of scale. 100Ah is a much more common size battery, and they make many more of them. ..nevermind the fact that simply swapping 2 LFPs into a UPS isn't necessarily a great idea since the charge controllers aren't designed for LFPs..

These aren't suitable for use as a car battery, fwiw. Not great with high temps, can't be charged below freezing, and can't necessarily supply the large spike in amps a starter draws.

No need to wonder. Go to YouTube, plenty of reputable people doing capacity checks and teardown videos. These batteries are coming down in price because the technology is becoming more popular. I am also going to go out on a limb here and say they produce way more 100ah batteries than they do 10ah batteries.

I bought one last fall and it is a nice light battery with handles that make it really easy to move around. It will not fully charge with a 12v car charger, but still is real handy to power 12v devices.

May prefer to use Freshstart coupon towards the Eco-Worthy 48V 100+AH battery...less issues balancing.

eg: this one would be less liable for balance drift owing to single BMS"

Not to mention this biggie has BT and a SOC screen you can mount.

That is a lot of capacity for the money, but only 600W max output. Good setup for a router or other smaller electronics but it won't cover a single high end PC.

If you want >1000W it gets super expensive, standalone inverters with <10ms response times cost about as much as buying a power bank at that point.

You'd have to manually toggle the recharge though? I imagine just leaving the charger running constantly would destroy the batteries.
Where'd you come up with 600w? It's rated for for 100a charge/discharge, so 1280w.

We were talking about a complete setup including an inverter. He recommended a low cost one that could do 600W. You're limited by the weakest component in the overall system.

I am not seeing the $112 price for this. I'm getting $ $153. Am I missing something?

anyone know if the posts can be swapped or upgraded to car terminals?
Most cars can't charge lithium batteries. Stick with lead acid to avoid fire.

Can I use the following two batteries in parallel:
- ECO-WORTHY 12V 100AH 1280Wh LiFePO4 Lithium Battery
- ECO-WORTHY 12V 150AH 1920Wh LiFePO4 Lithium Battery

If yes, do I need to pay attention to something in particular ?
Thanks!

Any idea how often this sale for DC house batteries comes around? The link went out of stock.

There's an oversupply as worldwide economic collapse is killing lithium demand. It was getting cheaper as production was ramping, but now sales are falling. You can buy 280ah cells for $45 or less. Imagine what they cost wholesale when you buy a 100K at a time.
