Split it in the app. When you go to pay there's two options at the top. The first says "Full Bill" and is highlighted in blue. You want to select "Split Bill". It'll add a box below it saying bill portion and you type in the pre-coupon total, $50 in this case.

No, sadly.

I typically will split the bill with myself though, first paying $50 using the coupon and $25 from my balance, and then the rest of the bill on a second pass with my expiring cash back.

Can you combine referral & the inKind pop ups on restaurant websites e.g. "$25 off $75" ?

If you can split the check like someone posted above, then you can. In my case, at the restaurant I was at, I couldn't split the check so I couldn't use a coupon and money from a referral on the same check. So the answer is it depends.

I heard something last week on an FM podcast where Nick or Greg were able to stack this with the Amex Gold Resy credit.

I know you are the expert, so figured you may know more about this.

Happy to! Basically, when you pay using your gift cards, you cannot use those for the tip. So any tip you pay gets charged to your credit card. If that restaurant participates in Resy, you'll get the credit if your credit card has it! I've only heard one report of this not working but my friends and I constantly pick restaurants that are on both for this reason.

We actually went out to dinner last night and split the check like five ways with less than five people just utilize the Resy credits for the month.

Every time I buy these or another gift cards off Costco, the order gets instantly cancelled. They must have flagged my account for some reason. Any one else experience this?
This has happened to me with 3 different cards at this point. Did you figure anything out?

I think it's something with my membership. If I switch out the membership to my mother in laws, the order goes through no problem, even with the same credit cards as before. They must have flagged my membership for some reason. I'll need to call them..

Your account was probably flagged for money laundering because you bought too many gift cards like costco cash cards online. I called last time and that was what they told me. You can still buy gift cards in-person.

Crazy to think, you could legitimately be eating at high end restaurants for similar price to McDonalds or other fast food.

I'm going to buy 5 and ask people I know if they will let me buy 5 as well.

Apple Pay worked for me. This was using the same card, too.

If i wanted to eat at an inkind restaurant with a bunch of people. Can i have me and 2 friends buy 5 gift cards each and load it onto one account and pay a bill that would potentially be $1500 total? Would the restaurant accept a large amount like that from inKind credit or can you only use $100 at a time each time you visit a restaurant?

So it says if you redeem with balance you don't get the cashback bonus? So then how do you get the bonus when doing this deal with GCs?

They nerfed that double dip function when they took away the monthly 10 off 30 credit around the same time. You only earn that 20% credit back when you use attached credit card. Basically, it's mainly the 30-40% Costco preload discount and the rarer targeted promos or referral bonuses now.

I've been using inkind for a couple years and I'm not too confident than it will last much longer... Because I live in a smaller city, it's easy to notice how the number of participating restaurants here has decreased over the past several months. I can only imagine that's happening elsewhere too.

This is a great deal if your city still has a good variety of participating restaurants, which is no longer my case.
