Split it in the app. When you go to pay there's two options at the top. The first says "Full Bill" and is highlighted in blue. You want to select "Split Bill". It'll add a box below it saying bill portion and you type in the pre-coupon total, $50 in this case.

No, sadly.

I typically will split the bill with myself though, first paying $50 using the coupon and $25 from my balance, and then the rest of the bill on a second pass with my expiring cash back.

FYI, I called DogHaus a restaurant on the list I wanted to use, and they said they weren't accepting Inkind GC's because they owed them allot of money. Not sure if any other business is going through this but wanted to share with the SD community. I used to use Restaurants.com back in the day and found with these types of deals it's always best to check with business before purchasing the GC's.
I've been a fairly heavy Inkind user now for nearly two years here in SoCal.

I don't think the restaurant has any idea whether I'm using a GC balance, a cashback credit or a CC.

And I haven't had any restaurants turn me down, or even given me any attitude.

Something does smell right here!

If anything it sounds like the contract with inKind has some kind of clause regarding payment schedule and it's hard on the restaurant to be floating cash while they wait for the inKind reimbursements to come thru. The restaurant just doesn't want to do business with inKind anymore so they're verbally blocking customers from checking out via inKind.

Edit:
The above was just my speculation but looking at the inKind FAQ for restaurants (https://inkindcapital.com/leads/#form), inKind provides capital upfront with 0% interest for the restaurants. So in theory, paying with inKind to the restaurant is just going directly back to inKind and lowering the restaurants loan to inKind. It sounds like inKind may be having liquidity problems if the restaurant is unable to get [more?] money from inKind? But it does sound like DogHaus is also looking to exit the relationship with inKind as well.

Costco canceled my last order, too (and I had not exceeded the purchase limit of 5/customer).
Also, when I attempt to purchase, the price in the cart shows as $69.99–when the website clearly says it is $59.99 (after $10 off). Maybe I have been flagged as ineligible for this? Totally weird, as I have only purchase maybe 2 of these before.

No. In SoCal right now some places are basically adding fees (kitchen, health dining in etc. Basically BS), So for example at Pija Palace, you get charged for food and drinks and then he adds another "restaurant fee" 18% and then you get to add a tip on top. Gelina and really about 1/3 of those on the SoCal list do this too for varying percentages (5%-20% that has nothing to do with the tip. IDK if you can pay that off the GC or not. So buyer beware on those. They DO list the fees on the menu so it will not come as a surprise. I don't use those restaurants anymore.
How can I tell in advance which restaurants are charging additional fees?

Easy solution, if they add junk fees (not experienced this once), take it out of their tip and let them know

I think you're not clicking through far enough. After you review your order the next screen says Payment and you select your tip. On the NEXT screen it will let you apply your coupons and your balance against the total.

I see a pay bill button but does not ask for bill details and asks for only amount to pay. Is this the right way to order?

Is this not how I am supposed to order? It does the same for all the stores I see on the app. It opens up the store website.
