I typically will split the bill with myself though, first paying $50 using the coupon and $25 from my balance, and then the rest of the bill on a second pass with my expiring cash back.

Seemingly you can only combine promos, like the $25 off $50 referral or birthday promo, with gift card credit. I save my cash back credit until I have a large enough amount to get basically a completely free meal
I used it at Ivan Restaurant last night for ramen. Will load up again.
FYI the restaurant website discounts are now only for new inkind customers and you do not get 20% cashback when you use your gift cards.
Also you can stack with seated.com cash back and the Amex gold $100 a year Resy cash back ( you do not need to reserve on Resy to get the Amex cash back )
Are you saying that restaurants are adding a 15-20% auto charge for paying with inkind, or they are just doing for all checks?
I have used the inkind app to pay for a couple large parties that restaurants typically add an auto gratuity because of "party of 8 or more" etc. I found this to be an advantage as I could use my inkind balance to pay it as it was on the check already vs. something I added.
Maybe a loop hole here. Even on a party of 2 ask the server to add an auto gratuity, usually 18% in my area (AZ), so it can be paid with inkind balance. Then I could add an additional tip which has to be paid with CC on file.
I'm in Austin and have dined at like half the restaurnts on inKind so can give you recommendations to. I've made friends with a bartender from these visits and he's now at The Guest House which is my favorite inKind spot for now. Way ovepriced food but it's all delicious and with the inKind discounts it's decent. Runners up are Top Roe, OKO, and TenTen (only for their happy hour).
Hi, what I want to know is can I stack several cards for a single transaction or might it be better to use these cards amongst different people.
Also, can I purchase alcohol with these and can I send any unused balance to someone else?

Yes. I did it a few days ago
Indeed you can
I've done to-go a few times. You can usually let the cashier know that you want to pay with inKind and they'll know how to handle it. The typical scenarios are that they can generate a regular bill for you that contains the bill number like a regular dine-in customer so you can enter it into your app. The other scenario is they will generate a bill with a pre-tip total and ask you to pay in the app where you select the restaurant and enter the total bill manually.
As usual, tips can only be paid with your CC. Referral promos stack with the gift card credit but not with the cash back balance (as a new account holder you won't have any cash back to consider anyways at this time)

Yes, it works on alcohol and yes you can send your gift card balance (not cash back) to someone else at any time.
