ON this deal: Open box Exc. for $463 might work for me
These guys are clowns... my TV arrived without the screws to attach the legs to the TV. I went online and the chat person said go to your local BB store and they will have screws. I went to one. The manager there was dismissive because I bought an "open-box". I kept telling him this was "open-box: excellent", he asked other people and they basically said the same things: go to Home Depot or you can return it.
I looked up the BB definition of "open-box: excellent" and it says it includes all accessories. I asked for the manager again, showed it to him. He then went back to find screws. He came back with 'screws from an LG box', but not the screws I needed.
I went to another BB and got the same run-around. This other BB manager mentioned he has no idea why the chat person would tell people to come into the stores.
Yeah, I returned it out of principle.
So, the Geek Squad peep that reviewed it forgot to include screws
The chat person on BB website lied to me
The manager was rude and dismissive.
This entire deal was a very poor customer experience to me.

What does this mean? Price drop?
I'm thinking buy now, buy again Monday if it's lower?
FYI, this is just pricing shenanigans it seems on this one. Time will tell though.
That TV has been $599 all week, and now hours before the drop it is showing $799.
I anticipate they will just drop it back to $599 (claiming a 25% DROP!) where it was sitting all week. Maybe it goes down to $550 where it was the other week and claim a 33% drop.
I have one still waiting for pickup at $550 since the drop was teased... but it seems like it's unlikely that price gets beaten today.
Costco has the doordash gc's. 20% off every day. If my math is right, this would be $480? I'm to far from the store for delivery. I assume I can put in the stores address in and have the doordash person hand it off to me there?
Edit: you can only use a max of 5 per order and they are in $50 denominations.
It's 2-3 months later and this TV is the same price. Nothing comparable (120 Refresh and OLED) at this price.

I never said that this TV would be cheaper later and if what I said made you think that, I apologize. What I meant was that over the next 2 or 3 months, we were going to see really good sales that would bring better models down in price which would alter the value proposition of the. 48" B4 at $600. And I was correct. The deals that really stuck out to me this season were the Superbowl returns at BB. I paid $700 for my 55" C3 that was new 2 years back during the season and there were better deals available this season with the difference being open box. If you're in the market, there might still be those deals. I've seen nice deals on new sets too. I wasn't in the market this year so I didn't pay as much attention but there were definitely good deals to be had. As for this particular TV, it seems to me like the price on the B series doesn't really change much. That makes sense really as it doesn't have as much room to work with to begin with. Again, if I made you think this TV was going to be cheaper later, that isn't what I intended and I apologize. I was more meaning that superior models would drop in price to be more attractive vs a 48" B series.
Open Box Good B4 for $530.
