It's bad when I buy so many kobalt tools on sale I'm not sure if I already have this sitting in its box in my garage. Gonna buy it just to be safe though.

If you have a lower power cordless trim router, you can get collet adapters and use that without the shoe. Some drywallers prefer a trim router, it is probably more dangerous though.

Imo, this is not for most Home owners. It produces too.much dust and a oscillating tool or a hole saw is better in most cases. Much easier cleanup with those tools.
