In a nutshell, one comes with a traditional battery charger "station" and the other one has a USB-C battery charger + USB-C cord. Personally, I'd prefer the latter as all my phones and tablets use USB-C anyway.

Got this deal a few days ago. It's an incredible deal for the price. The tools are well made and plenty powerful for home use.

These Skil tool sets were a Frontpage deal a few weeks ago at $99. Now only $79 (crazy slick, IMO). Only thing is that quantities are very limited, at least in my area. This is a buy now, think later kind of deal.

I bought that 10 tool deal. It's a pity that the 10 tool doesn't have the multi tool as this 5 tool has. And I couldn't get to a recent $30 deal for the multi tool plus battery.

bought this set years ago. The area light has become a favorite. i now own 2. this is a very good deal for the home DIYer. Not professional level but very usable around the house.

I have a couple 12 hyper tough tools with the usb-c charging style and feel it is more convenient.

Nice deal. Missed it the first time around, but snagged 3 of the individual tools at $29.99 each. Drill driver, impact driver and the hackzall.
Popped on this set as well for the batteries, multi tool and worklight.
Now I just need a project to use them!

Should I wait to get 18v or 20v drill? I had an old skil 18v that recently died. Mostly for home use, occasionally drilling holes.

Not if you pick it up at the store. A lot of us have multiple stores in our local areas. I've got probably 5 stores within a 25-30 minute drive, some with stock.
Just bought the USB-C version of this though (model number ends in -21 instead of -20), but some stores had one or a few of both.
