Not sure you can beat a 55" tv with a 5 year warranty for $240.

I always buy the 5 year warranty with deals like this as it's pricing is tiered, so ends up being cheap insurance.

The 43" is $149.99. I just picked one up to use as a monitor. I just surf the internet and stream videos. It should be fine for that. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tosh...Id=6532119

https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...eries-2023

Update: Set it up today and the picture and colors are better than the ONN 43" Roku TV it replaced (backlight was going wonky). The only thing is I hate the fire TV interface. The colors are warmer and more accurate, and since it's an IPS panel the side angle is viewing is better. Easily worth the $150 to me.

Anyone buy this exact model and know if the VESA mounts are 300x200 or 200x300? The description shows 200x300 but the pictures shows 300x200 it seems.

I wonder if the quality of TVs has really gone downhill lately especially certain manufacturers

I've looked into buying a new TV after getting a refurb Vizio 5 years ago, but reports of having to deal with all sorts of problems have kept me on the fence. The insurance seems like a must now

My old one is still going strong somehow, so may just keep on keeping on
I bought a Vizio refurb from Walmart 6 years ago....still bright clear pic
Bought Seiki .....3 tvs......13 years ago for family....still going strong..I think they had Samsung panel

Isn't insurance on something like this mostly a scam though? If it breaks in 2 years, I would assume, I don't know from experience here, I would assume they give you just some prorated "value" of the tv — which is not gonna be much ..

It'd be awesome if they just replaced it with an equivalent but I doubt they do that. I feel like most of these insurance things are just a giant scam ..
The last time I used it was about 4 years ago on an non-repairable Samsung 55" due to purple display blotches on year 3. They gave me 2 options. They sent me to a webpage to select from a few equivalent models available at the time or offered to send me a check for the total purchase amount. I didn't like the tv options given so I took the check and purchased a Hisense QLED along with another 5 year warranty.

Hope you're looking at it as a disposable purchase. I got a 49" at Best Buy years ago when Toshiba's name was first again used. It lasted 16 months. Picture was great until there wasn't any.
I bought the 5 yr insurance with my 50" when it was $120

I've read reports that TVs running Amazon Fire now automatically unmute during commercials if you're watching something on Prime.
Not the case (did u "hear about" the earth being flat as well?)
