Yes. Since it's Android. What you do is create a minor (<13 yrs old) Google account. Then add that account to your Google Family. Then login to that account when setting up this phone. From there you can manage screentime length and schedules, plus block or allow different apps. As long as you stick with Google Chrome as the only browser on the phone you can set what websites are allowed and the maturity level of search results. Some other Google apps also allow you to set maturity level allowed.

It takes some configuring, but I've had good experiences with using Google Family to manage my kids devices.
I've done the following several times without issue. Usually the chat portion is completed within 30 minutes. You won't have to do much more than provide validation that you're in possession of both phones (they'll send a text to each phone at points during the chat) and keep the conversation open (basically respond after each time they chat to you even if it's just "ok" to their "please continue to hold").

1. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your permanent phone.
2. Activate your "donor" phone on the same account.
3. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your new, donor phone.
4. Go to support.tracfone.com and scroll down to and click "Chat with Support".
5. Populate the message template below with details of your donor phone and permanent phone and share with the CSR.

Hello, I'd like to move the data, minutes, text, and remaining days FROM my line TO my line .

currently has ### minutes, ### messages, #.# GB data, ### days left which I'd like added to my line which currently has ### minutes, #### messages, #.# GB data, ## days left.

My account email address is:

The end result should be minutes, messages, GB data, days left.
Walmart appears to be for 1 phone with plan. This deal is for 2 phones with plans at $54.98 for existing customers, $39.98 for new customers.

the fact minutes expire after 1 year is pretty shitty and makes tracfone suck. some people just want a cheap phone to store in the car for emergencies and dont want to remember to renew a subscription every year. the minutes are paid for so whats the problem? why do they expire? its bullshit

horrible phone. the only value is in the plan i guess.
also, who is still a "new" customer?

Yes I personally need a active sim for a year for so many reasons and at this price its a steal. I created a new account with one of my ten emails to become a new customer. BTW, I ordered three, so I am good for next 6 years. Lol

Most other carriers have "minutes" that expire every 30 days. The Tracfone bundle deals is already one of the cheapest ways to get an annual plan in the US.

US mobile plans just suck in general. I have a no expiry promo from a Philippine carrier that gives me 48GB, 600 min and 600 texts for less than $15. Only catch is I need to add $1 load once a year to keep the SIM active.

Super slow phone
i'm not a phone snob, still using a pixel 5a. but yes, this is a very slow phone. i got two of these awhile ago. i also got the 2024 version to harvest plan and the 2024 version is leaps and bounds snappier.

anyone looking to actually use the phone, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and get the 2024 version.

2023 version is 3GB/32GB
2024 version is 4GB/64GB and its a very noticeable difference.

QVC sells the 2 pack of the 2024 version for $99 and new customers can use the same $15 off code. So for an extra 45 bucks, you actually get two very useable phones instead of ewaste.

This is insane deal. So if this tutorial works, I will have cheap sim for 3 years validity. I use GV as primary, and this TracFone sim to receive one time passwords from banks etc.
yeah, harvesting plans is pretty slick. and this tutorial does work. i've done done it a good half dozen times in the past year. got emergency phones in all the cars that are good for years!

Quick question: I understand that I will get the validity extended to 3 years, but does that mean that 4500 (1500 X 3) minutes also are good for 3 years? Like 4.5 GB data can be used within 3 years?

Minutes don't expire, service time does. As long as you continue to add service time the minutes roll over. Many long time users have pretty large amounts of minutes because they keep adding these cheap deals.

This answers my question. So if I keep on combining the plans, I would expect minutes, texts and data to be combined also for that many years.

can these be upgraded to Android 13 or newer? I want to use one as a work phone. I have an iPhone SE from them now and hate the gestures
i believe it does update to Android 13, but not 14. Though, i would urge you to consider going the 2024 version if you are actually planning on using the phone. I've got both and the 2023 version vastly inferior user experience.

Totally agree. This model is an out of date minimal spec phone & will be slow - at least the 24 model is on 14 and usable for the basics.

I currently have a spare iPhone SE that I use occasionally. Can I use this plan for my iPhone? Can I unlock one Moto phone, wait 2 days, unlock the 2nd Moto phone, then pop the sim into my iPhone SE to use this plan for a year? (Or two?)

Do not swap sims, they are registered to phone IMEI. Need to use iPhone esim or BYOP sim and activate the new phone correctly (keep current number).

You can activate 1st, wait a couple days then the second Moto G Play. Do not move the Moto SIM to your iPhone SE (it may affect your service). Buy a $1 TF BYOD SIM for your iPhone SE and do a proper transfer of service from the 2nd Moto (with 2 years of service and 3000 TTD). It's possible the Moto Gs will be eligible for unlock 60 days after activation (as long as you don't move the SIMs to any other phone).
